Thanks Laura for the info. She kept telling me to fast before coming in. This journaling has somewhat put me back on track. The 1000calories a day is tough. I have gone over everyday by 200. I guess I was really eating way to many calories.

No, she didn't talk to me about it. In fact, she gave my a pamphlet on it and I haven't read it. I just know it is 125 bucks. I will give y'all the scoop after I do this. I have a low thyroid so I am anxious to get the read out.

Janet, I am journaling.....well, except for yesterday. The ticker hasn't moved, but I am not discouraged. I have a neat journal that the nutritionist gave me. It has a place for water, exercise, and protein.....then another page for just writing down thoughts. I'll will have a good report when I go on the 24th. That day, I will blow in the machine that tells reads my metabolism.

Melody.............Wow! Awesome weight loss.........care to share any tips? How many calories did you eat a day? I just went to the nutritionist today. I start on a 1000cal tomorrow. Next month I go to breathe in a machine to measure my metabolism and found out how many calories I need to be eating. I am kind of excited having a personal nutritionist.

I just got back from the doctor. The PA took out another.1cc. Then I saw the nutritionist. I am on a 1,000 cal a day. At the next appt I am going to blow in this machine that measures my metabolism. It tells how many calories I should be eating. It costs $125, but think it will be beneficial to my weight loss. I like this better than WW because I need the personal help.

Yes, it is easier because we are only going out once a week to eat. I still have a slider problem. I am going to the nutrionist tomorrow. I have to have a warden over me. Someone I can talk face to face. We will see if this works. I am amazed at the different foods DH can eat. He eats bread........I can only eat crackers or toasted bread. If he eats too much he gets lightheaded......weird. I don't know about FL. I have to get past our Hawaii trip in December. Dow Chemical furlowed him last Christmas. We will see how it goes this winter. My church went to Destin, FL this year and the pics were awesome. Looks like a fun trip.

Belly weight. As I lose..........my belly goes down, down, down........I will need a wheelbarrow soon. lol! I have had three laparatomies so I don't have much abdominal muscle. Probably why my back is so bad. I know I will have to get it tucked when I lose to my goal.

Kimaly.......mine is my stomach . With all those surgeries and weight loss it is like a basketball ready to drop...........yuk. I even have to buy bigger pants because they won't fit over it. Anyone know a sure fire exercise to reduce the lower abdomen? Oh, I have a bad back too so it can't be to strenuous.

Lori, that sounds like an awesome trip. I just can't imagine my five kids and 9 grands getting along for 4 days. That would be a miracle. Yeah, Dr. Davis hopes they want to do a 3rd series of shows. I love to watch the success stories. I see him on thursday for my year check-up. I am bad about taking vitamins. I hope my blood work is good. Your weight loss is awesome. CONGRATS!

FYI.......Janet, Lori, and band buds of "Big Medicine"........I just got an email from the Davis Clinic, and there will be a one hour special of Big Medicine in mid November on TLC. It will feature follow up of some of their patients that were on previous episodes.

Cheri...........you look great! Susan, I hope you are feeling better. GB surgery is not too bad, but take it slow on the eating. Of course, you have the band to remind you.

JAL........WooHOO! congrats! Kimaly, a friend of mine lost 120lbs last year from gastric bypass, and it took a toll on her face. About a month ago she had a Lifestyle Lift. They did her lids and lypo under her chin. They do it while you are awake. It is all done by numbing with shots. It took those deep lines out of her face, and looked very natural. I think she paid 7,000. A lift without the lids is 4100.

Janet...........checking in........no news on weight loss. I go to the nutrionist on thursday. Laura ........still praying for your dad. Keep us informed. Lori........glad you had a great camping trip. .......Is that your new favorite thing to do? Yep, I know I am a food addict. I just ate cake for a third Sunday in a row. Not much, but it does trigger my sweet tooth. NOT GOOD! I am scheduled for another tweak of a fill on thursday, but I am going to turn it down. I think I have more of a behavioral problem then a band problem.

That is awesome! My ah ha moment to get weight loss surgery was in 2007 after going to Vegas. For the first time I had to ask for an extender............and.......wouldn't you know it .......they had to order some more for the plane. So, it was not a secret to anyone around me that I had an extender. After that trip I started checking into weight loss surgery. I am actually looking forward to flying to Hawaii in December. My DH and I will be able to relax and not worry about spilling over the seat. And being able to put the tray down without it hanging on my gut. Geez.......I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

sorry girl, I just have been busy with the grandbaby. Nothing new to report........not pbing anymore, but now I am hungry........what's up with that? One moment I am sliming.......then I don't get full. I haven't lost since I was so tight. I am begining to think 700 calories is what I ought to shoot for because 1200 is too many to lose on. I am just frustrated, and it doesn't help that my DH is losing 4lbs a week.......yep he has lost 21lbs since July 15th. Oh well, I will keep traveling along on this journey.

Laura, I am so glad your dad is doing better. I will continue to lift him up in prayer. doodle.......sounds like things are looking up for your daughter. She must be in good hands. Taking care of small grandchildren can really wear you out. I hope she is home soon. Kath........I know all about that yacking in the bushes. I have finally learned to take that first bite and wait until I burp, then I can eat more. I still pb if I have gone too long without eating. Meredith.........awesome.......a hike.....keep us informed on when you do it. Phyll.......I saw your pics of your 45TH aniversary.........CONGRATS! Janet, Lori,Apples,(where are you?)...........I hope you had a great weekend. Oh, my SIL made me a lava cake.......nope, couldn't turn him down.......he made it from scratch. Sundays are turning into "cake day" for me. Next Sunday I am hosting a baby shower..........more cake! Yikes! I will just have to walk more this week.

Well, congrats on having only 20lbs to go.......great! Yeah, I don't think I am going to the reunion. I have another engagement that I commited to several months ago. Those people are my REAL friends. Once again I am journaling in hopes to get back to reality. I think I was eating close to 1500cals . Now, I have it down to 1200. It is tough.

Laura...........Congrats on the 15lbs......that is awesome. I am praying for your dad. Well, the nutritionist from Dr. Davis' office called me yesterday. So, I am writing down my food and exercise , and I will have a consult with her on the 27th. She said they have one of those machines that you blow into and it can measure your metabolism( I think). She is charging me 50 dollars for the consult. Just journaling my food with probably get things rolling better. Janet , You are so right about choices.

Yeah, I got in touch with a few of my old classmates. I don't know if I am going. Talking to them kinda took the anticiaption of seeing them go away. I'll see how I feel in a couple of weeks. Anyway, I got that unfill of .3 and I feel so much better. I think I may be at a "sweet spot". Down 3lbs.
