Phyl , I hope you don't mind if I send you private messages after my surgery on the 16th. Being a nurse I know you can tell me when to call the dr. The last three abdominal surgeries I had came with complications. I have had three bowel obstructions. He said he won't touch my intestines, but you can understand why I am anxious. Anyway, here is a question. Should I take Miralax the night before the surgery? I am concerned about the barium not going thru my gut . I take Miralax everyday. What's your opinion?

I started my pre op diet yesterday....Bariatric Advantage. Dr Garth Davis in Houston is banding me. I have alot to lose,but I feel banding would be safter for me. How about you?
