  1. HI. Good hearing from you. I lost around 65 since surgery. I've done a small amount of exercise -I should be walking the track at the park more. I don't get enough Water either. I did have one stall and increased my water and that helped - also been eating SF popsicles and SF Jello for liquids. I drink Premier Protein daily because I cant eat enough of food Protein in - It fills me up and makes me less hungry for food also. I have made a few bad food choices and felt horrible but never have been sick. I'm almost at goal weight, but still cant wear my engagement/wedding rings yet so I hope to loose enough to reach that goal. I was on the MS Coast last month - we went to Mobile Mardi Gras and visited family. Take care.

  2. @crazywomanincage @baileymedlin24 I'm 4 1/2 weeks post op and used SMOOTH TEA a couple of times. It works the best for me. I tried Milk of Magnesia (UGHHHH). I'm sticking with drinking the smooth tea every few of nights before bed. I have added benefiber to liquids a few times, but the tea works great... and a Great BIG THANK YOU to who ever posted about Smooth Tea on this forum - your advise was so helpful.

  3. This is posted on the website that sells Patches:

Please Note: We use Calcium Carbonate and not calcium citrate in our Patches. Calcium Carbonate is absorbed better than Calcium Citrate when used transdermally. The only reason Calcium Citrate is what many surgeons or doctors recommend is that it's the best form of Calcium - when ingested into your digestive system. Our patches bypass the digestive system so there's no benefit of using Calcium Citrate!

  4. I drink Water first thing when I wake up. I drink a Premier in the Morning through lunch time. I add Powdered Protein to SF Pudding/Broth/Yogurt/etc. I start drinking about half an Isopure in the afternoon. I then drink another Premier from dinner to bed time. Lots of water in between drinking the Protein Drinks. If you like Jello - make a box of the sugar free. Instead of adding the cold water add a cold Isopure. Example - Grape jello + Grape Isopure.

  5. First, I want to say, I was kept in recovery for EIGHT hours which contributed to me becoming cranky and irritable. There was NO Rooms available for patients to be moved into. My surgeon had Six surgeries that day. I was number three scheduled for 11 AM. I actually was brought in early and surgery was only an hour. The Recovery Room was full of several other patients, their family members, staff, so noisy, bright lights, movement, voices - I wanted peace and quiet by this time -and I was fine until about the last 30 minutes before my room was ready to be moved into. Once I got to room and settled to rest a machine started BEEPING. It would not stop and I was trying to push a non-functioning nurse button on the bed (should have pushed the nurse button on the TV remote) and had to start yelling for help. The nurse couldn't stop the beeping so she called a tech. and he couldn't repair the machine to stop the beeping so they ended up having to replace the Beeping machine. Right after this the assistant nurse came in to take my blood pressure. I told her it was probably SKY High. She left with plans to come back later but didn't say that or I didn't hear her. I was like "NOOO, I want it documented." I called and told them come take my blood pressure. No food - No sleep = Me being Bitchy.
