How in the hail is this even possible. lol Your band always stays the same size. It doesn't loosen or contract.

I use the weight i was when I first went to the dr office.

For myself it was barely being able to wash my feet and lower legs in the shower. It mashed all of the air out of my lungs bending over like that.

I have been doing a lot of searching on the net and have about decided that a hybrid bike interest me the most. There is nothing available locally around where I live but there is a bike shop about 50 miles away that can help me out. So choices of used bikes are slim to zero. I'll know more tuesday or wednesday.

A friend of mine knows a guy who went in for rny surgery and he never woke up. Dead at 52 years of age. So it can happen.

I use straws all the time. don't even remember if my surgon said not to or what.

Heck I didn't know you could block users with the PC. Plus anyway to get rid of all of these ads?

i'm from mississippi also. i have my first dr appointment in 3 days, mar 6. i have read a lot of negative comments on this board and i am starting to reconsider what i should do. it doesn't help that i am phobic about being cut. :thumbup:

hi. glad i found this forum. i went to a seminar recently and decided to do the lap band. my first appointment is mar 6. lucky for me my insurance covers all but about $700. otherwise this would be impossible for me.

my top weight was 383.... now i am at 367. have been as low as 313 since i got fat. i was athletic shaped until about age 33 and then i started gaining weight. my normal weight is around 215.

hope to make a friend or two here.
