Wow! Good work! I'm right on track to be there with you. Down 91 pounds and had surgery on September 2nd. -
It's normal to be nervous, it'll be all done soon and you'll be on track to a better you. I don't regret my decision one bit.

Met with my nutritionist today. Still losing about a pound a day. Struggling to get in all of my calories. She suggested adding nuts or a little bit of natural Peanut Butter. So I'll give that a shot. I've been going to the gym often so I need to get in those calories. No junk food just need more calories from things that are beneficial for me. Still struggling with keeping my Multivitamins down. Thinking about trying the patch. She gave me some samples of different chewable Vitamins to try. -
Awesome!!!! Feels good doesn't it!

Keep Us Motivated - What Can You Do Now That You Couldn't Do Before?

Part of my job is to ride with state troopers, I can now fit in the passenger seat behind the computer. They don't have to "take their car apart" just to have me ride. Sit in a booth at a restaurant. Play with my nieces and nephews. Jog. Go up several flights of stairs. Walk around the mall. Get in and out of the car easier. Not worry about the weight limit of everything. Fit into clothing I've never been able to wear. Play racquetball. Go hiking. Go swimming. I could go on and on. -

2 week liquid diet.

First three days sucked, then it was eye on the ball and it got easier. Hardest day was when everyone at work ordered pizza not knowing that was my go to food. Whole place smelled amazing! But I muscled through it. No issues with heartburn. Now post op I had to stay on top of my PPI or it was uncomfortable. -

I was nervous the day before. Once I got there they asked me if I needed anything to calm me down. At that point I just wanted to get the party started so I passed on the meds. It's normal. -
Awesome! Good luck!
-
Congrats on getting your surgery!

Pre-Op Diet Begins Tomorrow Morning!
#BirdDog replied to ahappycamper's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds just like my pre-op diet. If you're anything like me day three was the most difficult. Oh and the day everyone at work ordered out and got my favorite food. But I survived as will you! For me this was the hardest part so far. -
Psych eval tomorrow! Scared.
#BirdDog replied to evagria_the_faithful's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine was super easy. I say and talked to him for about ten minutes while he got to know me and asked me a few questions about the surgery and lifestyle change. Just to make sure I understood what I was undertaking. Then I took this long test that was like 250 to 300 questions. Some of them were really silly. Nothing to trick you, just a lot of questions to make sure you have both ores in the Water. You'll do fine, don't sweat it. -

Met with my new DME provider. They set me up with a new mask. Tonight is my first night with it. Given my symptoms the guy that did the fitting thinks my pressure is too high. You'd think the doctor would have identified that too. But we'll see. I'll give the new mask a couple weeks, if no improvement back to the sleep doc! Still going to the gym on a regular basis. Working a sedentary job it feels good just to get in some activity and a good sweat. Doing a circuit of weight training just trying to keep from losing muscle mass. So far so good. I still need to get in more variety in my diet and get my calories up. I have an appointment with my nutritionist in a few days so hopefully she can give me some tips that keep me on track but bump up the calories. -
