I usually say I had wls but sometimes when I feel like a smart ass I say something like my husband locks the refrigerator or I've been banned from the grocery stores.

I was asked yesterday by male coworker " I bet your husband is happy now!" I told him I don't give a "F" what a man thinks about my new figure if you didn't like me when I was heavy don't "F" with me now that I'm thinner. That shut him down real quick!

Don't postpone your surgery. Bring your husband and son with you. Even if your husband and son have to stay in the waiting room at least they will be there. Your daughter could come later that day to take your son home.

I eat a Protein bar for one of my small meals. It helps me get my Protein requirements in along with my meals without drinking shakes...I hate shakes.< /p>

I know bypass seems a little scarey but it if you have reflux you really should consider it. I went with bypass because of acid reflux.

I'm 5 months post op gastric bypass. I do go out to eat but I make smart choices like salad, chicken, Soup. Lite choices on the menu. At this stage I couldn't eat something "bad" I don't have the room in my pouch. Also I'm trying to teach myself not to think of food as a reward. I know when I get to maintenence I can ocassionally have a bite of something off of my plan. I was and still am a food adict. I will always have to be careful not to fall back into that behavior. My brain is a fat girl brain in a thinner body. Surgery can't change that.

I had the same problem. I took stool softeners and fiber gummies. When I started eating and stopped drinking Protein shakes it improved. It was about 4 weeks post op. before it was "normal again"

Anyone else having trouble with kidney stones after surgery. My Dr. thinks I may have them. Dr. says it can come from rapid weight loss and high Protein diet. Didn't expect that. Well that sucks cause it's a high Protein diet for life.

I'm 5 months out from my bypass... I started losing hair at the 3 month mark. I'm happy to say my Hair loss has slowed down considerably. My weight loss has also slowed down to 2 to 2 1/2 lb a week. I think when our weight loss slows down so does the hair loss.

I would never be that shallow. I know what it feel like to be judged and I can look past weight and see someone for their heart.

I had my bypass on 8/8/16. SW 281 CW 202. I'm losing 2 1/2 to 3lb. a week. The weight loss is slowing down but I expected that especially since I'm almost under 200 lb. I think your weight loss is normal. The lighter we get the weight will come off slower.
