so I go for my 9 month post op check up on Friday, and I have not lost ANY weight in the past 2 months. Does this mean I am done losing weight? that being said I did have a lower BMI to start with at 31.... I started at 215 and I am now at 175..... I was really wanting to get to 160 .... anyone else have an experience like this ? Im really hoping that I will continue to lose at least 10 more pounds but scared that I might be done

I was the same way.. I had a lower BMI and the weight have slowly come off.... I'm not losing like everyone else says they are on these forum pages. I'm still happy that I did the surgery but am slowly realizing that I'm just not going to lose the weight at a fast pace like others

I know this post is a couple years old.. but just saw it in hopes that someone could help me... Im a low BMI'er as well... .
first month I shed about 20 lbs.... Sept 20 makes two months after surgery and I have literally only lost 3 lbs...
now.. to be hohest im not exactly eating 100% no carb.. and " correct" ... but im still eating such small portions....
is this normal to lose this slowly? im scared that I just wasted $$ ( b/c I was self pay ) and that im not going to lose any more weight

I was sleeved on July 20 .... Lost 20 lb in first three weeks
However , I have not lost even 1 lb in past week or so ?
What is going on ??? I did have a lower bro than most who have the procedure but I don't understand ??? The scale isn't moving ?
I've done well with recovery and am on regular foods now
I'm scared now that I made bad decision and not going to lose weight

Ok .. Today starts week 3 - purée stage ...
I can have scrambled eggs so I made myself one this am .... I ate it and seemed to go down fine ... BUT I was scared that I would eat to much ?? I ate about 3/4 of it and could have eaten the whole thing ??
Is that normal ?? I just don't understand the amount of food that I should be able to take it .. I thought i wouldn't even be able to eat a whole egg ?
Thoughts ?? Ideas ? Any help appreciated

Im glad you asked the question because I am 9 months out and was wondering the same thing. I feel like I am able to eat way more than I should .... and for heaven sake dont want to gain any of this back ?
Also, being 10 months out.. are you experiencing a major slow down in your weight loss? I havent lost in 2 months.. scared that this might be it ?
