    Angelica - the bypass is absolutely forever - certainly your pouch can get bigger over time. Part of the WLS journey is learning new and better eating habits. If you have any WLS and continue eating high carb/high fat/high sugar foods, what's the point of having surgery?

    When I was at the "mushy" stage, I had well blended tuna, canned chicken, turkey meatloaf. All moistened with a little lite mayo. I added unflavored Protein powder to all to make sure I got my Protein in.

    I would contact your surgeon/clinic to be sure. It is important to not only look at the protein/calorie count, but the amount of sugars. If it is less than 5, you are probably good. Have you tried the PREMIER Protein shakes? They are 160 calories, 1 sugar, and 30 grams of Protein.
    What is your immediate post op diet plan? Are you only drinking Protein Shakes? What about other fluids like Water, sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello?
