  1. I'm on my third day of my two week diet and as of this afternoon I'm down 15 lbs already I'm like amazed. I use the ISO 100 Protein shakes the fudge brownie kind. Tastes like cold hot chocolate. Not too bad but I don't like sweet drinks so by my third one I'm ready to get it over with. My diet is all liquid diet tho no food!!! Good luck so far it's not as bad as I thought it would be. And I cook for my husband and kids every night so far. Drink my dinner shake while they eat. The worst part has been the headaches. Lots of luck on ur journey!!!

  2. With the kindest words possible. First of all it's mush not fried fatty foods diet. You need to ask yourself why you had this surgery. Did you see a nutritionist before surgery? To teach you healthy eating. Maybe a vegetable Soup or fish meal that is mushy usually. You want something very soft and mushy chips of fried. You want baked fish not fried fish! And lasagne has a lot of carbs you wanna stay away from the starchy foods. Make healthy choices. This is a new start. This is just a tool it's up to you on how you make it work though best of wishes and have a great time with smart choices !!

  4. I'm not allowed to have Soup just broth. I'm actually doing great just with the Protein shakes and Water I don't feel hungry just headaches and I suffer from Migraines so that not making it any better but I wouldn't cheat if someone paid me too i have three kids that need they're mom and it's not worth risking anything to happen.

  5. The thing is it is not anyone's place to judge other people. Lots of anger here. Its really none of your business unless you are asked for advice. Because speaking of honesty I do not believe half the people when they say they do not cheat or mess up and brag about how perfect they are. Lies. 60% of people mess up because we are human and we have issues with food. And every site i have read says do not become obsessive with never having a grain of sugar or you will burn out and regain. Stop pushing your agenda on other people. If they fail it is on them. If they ask for your help go ahead. This new America where everyone attacks everyone else and talks about how perfect they are makes me sick. Positive encouragement is all you can do. I have been only able to eat very small calories and havnt lost weight yet as I am two weeks out. I have to believe in the system. But people have no idea why other people get the surgery. Worry about your own self! This mean kid online mentality is cowardly and ridiculous.

Wait, whuuuuuuut? Who's offering unsolicited advice? What on earth are you talking about?

I didn't "cheat" pre or post op. No lie. That doesn't make me better than anyone. I was simply determined to be successful this time around. I eat sugar from time to time, never said I don't. I really have no idea who are what you are lashing out about.

I'm with @@LipstickLady no clue what ur talking about and when it's posted on a public site for thoughts advice or questions that made it her and everyone else who visits this site they're business. So that aspect made no sense and nobody was Harassing or judging but giving her the truth of what needs to be done with the journey you can't sugar coat everything let me tell you if my professors in college sugar coated everything for me I would have never succeeded in getting my RN being tough on people sometimes opens there eyes to new prospectives in life and to what needs to be done for success. She made it everyone's business. Have a blessed and great day and gl in your journey.

  6. I got so sick of the sweet cloying taste of the shakes, Jello and popsicles. When I talked to my bariatric team they suggested making some homemade fresh chicken broth. Not the canned stuff.....

If it were not for that, I dont think I would survive. I sipped on it alot pre op and definately post op.

yes I'm definitely gunna do the broths I'm allowed to have them. And hot Decaf tea. I don't like juice so will stick with Water unless I infuse it with fruit.
