Completely agree!! Even people who've had complications say they'd do it all over again. That's what keeps me going. :-) I'm looking forward to being healthy and living a better life.Hi manatee! Same bmi here but like you, ive tried over and over to lose the weight with obviously no success...i dont think ive heard anyone say they regretted the surgery :-)

Hi everyone! I'm also set for surgery on 9/26 in Tampa, Florida. I'm filing through my insurance so I've been working on jumping through all of the hoops since February. Part of me is super excited to get this started and part of me is scared to death. My BMI is 40 so I keep 2nd guessing myself by thinking maybe I should try one more time to do this on my own. Honestly though I've tried probably 100 times. I have PCOS so that makes it much harder.

As far as Protein shakes, I've tried different brands of Protein both premade and powders and my favorite are unjury and Bariatric fusion. Unjury is cheaper between the two. I ordered samples of different brands to try before ordering whole bottles. I hope this helps!
