  1. I'm curious to know if stretch marks on tummy interfere with the surgery itself. Only reason I ask is bc stretch marks are fibrous tissue and they can get in the way of surgical tools.

You'll be fine. I have stretch marks all over my belly (thanks to motherhood) didn't have a problem at all. I haven't heard of stretch marks interfering w/ surgery... That's interesting. I'm sure there are other Sleevers that can chime in as well to let you know that you have no worries. Now the liver may be an issue if you do not follow pre-op instructions.

  4. @@reducer623

We have both had our coppers around the same length of time. My periods went from heavy to light in about 6 months. I have always had random spotting if I have high activities levels.

Lately me between period spotting has lightened up and is almost non existent. I am hoping by the end of the year to be back to normal.

Since we don't have hormones to help us, our bodies just have to work it out on their own.

Mine have just began to lighten up after having it for what seems like forever lol. I was worried about the random spotting after surgery but my monthly visit was lighter this time around. Hopefully that's an affect of the surgery.

  5. I hope that you are all doing well on your journey to a better you! We've recently had a thread available to us that has become increasingly popular. To keep the momentum going for ongoing support/encouragement (and who knows maybe even genuine friendships can be formed), a wonderful fellow sleever of ours @@soccergirl09 came up with a great idea for an online Facebook group. The group is private & up and running! Looking forward to seeing you all there

Once you've sent a request, you will be added to the group.
