Things that I'll be taking to hospital

Everyone was only simply trying to help. Your profile picture says "There is power in positivity" there certainly is but it begins within first. I pray that you have a great journey & realize that we are all here to be system of support & to learn through each stage. No one was trying to attack you in anyway but for some reason you seem really sensitive, I was pretty grouchy on the pre-op diet as well so I get it. We can all learn & grow from each other. With much love & peace to you on your journey... Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Hello Sleevers! I tried to search for this specific thread but didn't find anything. I will be 4 weeks post op Thursday. I have a workout regimen of high incline & high speed 30 mins treadmill walk everyday and I'm healing really well. My doctor cleared me for regular exercise so I began strength training today (squats & arm workouts so far) but I was curious about using a floor ab roller and crunches. Is it too early? Please share your experiences. Much appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'll increase to 800 and see how that works. I became a machine overnight lol. I hated exercise before now, it seems like I can't get enough lol. Thank you so much! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thanks & Oh no! It's already slow I wouldn't want that lol. I was a low BMI (35) & now stalling so I'm trying to everything to help the pounds shed. I've been using the Baritastic app & I consume about 80 grams of Protein & average between 530-600 calories per day. What are your thoughts on that? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

TMI POST- Constipation
reducer623 replied to LA_lady's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can try Le Laci Lu dieters tea (not sure of the spelling) it's all natural & plant based. If you can't handle milk of magnesia I would certainly recommend the tea Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Hello ladies! Glad I found this group. I was sleeved 7/14/16 so far I'm down 20lbs in total. Started w/ a BMI of 35. Working hard to keep the scale moving in the right direction. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

plateaus and other ungodly events.
reducer623 replied to tanktalken's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
What was your goal? I start w/ a BMI of 35 & like author of this post I want to see the quick results. With a stall last week (and what seems to be this week also) Sometimes I think I'm trapped in this body. I know it's mind over matter, it's just tough when the scale seems broken lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
CALLING ALL JULY 2016 SLEEVERS
reducer623 replied to Tresa Embil's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
July 14th here! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I'm 28, started with a BMI of 35. My surgery was 7/14. I know I'm not even a month out but I've only lost 20lbs from pre-op til' now. My metabolism is slower than molasses. I've heard that weight loss is slow for lower BMI's but I have 5lbs to go until I'm in the 100's. I just want to see 199... Like today! Lol. My Protein intake is about 75-80 grams. I'm at a stall this week so I guess o should try to aim for higher protein intake. Maybe 90-100 as some of you mentioned along your journey. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Push yourself harder during the stall. In a nut shell the advice I was given by one of (or a few rather) the vsg "guru's" here. I was told to kick ass basically during that time. I had a stall last week & I increased my treadmill workout (higher interval & speed) cut out the mashed potatoes & grits I was approved to eat, made mashed cauliflower instead, went to plain yogurt & as of yesterday I'm down 3 pounds! May not be much for some but be determined, keep working out to your best ability & you will overcome the stall! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

gain weight during hospital stay
reducer623 replied to nyseness's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel your pain! I was horrified to know that 5 days post op I was the same weight going into surgery. I thought I'd be shock to see the numbers on the scale waiting a few days & let me tell you I was shocked! Lol. It will come off. You should be up & walking around though to prevent blood clots, to keep your muscles strong & to get into the habit of exercising. Don't overexert yourself though a few minutes a few times a day should suffice until you can build up to longer walks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Really? I will check it out! Thanks for sharing. Isopure's the only one I've tried but I'll look into Genepro. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

reducer623 replied to reducer623's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I see a few of us in the same boat. Our bodies are probably just trying to adjust to the new change. Let's hope this phase quickly turns around for us. However 40 lbs IS a victory! Keep up the great work everyone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

That's great! I'm down 18 pounds since surgery. I have to push myself really hard working out & all but it's coming off. I'm believe I'm at a stall as well. Hopefully this weeks weigh-in will be better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
