I take Tae Kwon Do four days a week. It's a great mix of flexibility, strength, and cardio (last night we closed class with 50 burpees and 50 pushups). Plus, the class is all adults, half male, half female, and lots of married couples. That means it's also a great place to socialize. I've made new friends and we all keep one another accountable.

When I was on liquids, I used to go to a pho restaurant and buy the broth. Even now, we'll go and my kids will eat the noodles out of their pho and I'll snag the broth. IMHO, you did quite well.

I don't go either. I work full time, have two kids, and those evening support groups are during my workout time. I'd rather exercise.

Yes, it's common. Mine didn't get smaller length-wise (though many people's do) , but they went from wide to medium.

I buy sublingual B12 from costco. It's about $10 for 3 months. My numbers are great. Almost all surgeons recommend sublingual B12. Why don't you start there and you can switch if you ever have an issue? What about Vitamin B12? My Dr ordered the nasal form and my insurance does not cover that Med which is $400/ mo in price and I cannot afford that. I have called his office with no response from them over two weeks ago
He did not recommend any over the counter form of B12.... has anyone kept their levels up on the oral forms of B12?

You're not a slow loser. Actually, you're losing at an average or slightly faster rate. You're not even a month out and 20 pounds down. That's on the high end.
You need to adjust your expectations. Don't set yourself up for an emotional crash.

I wore a bandeau bra from Walmart. It's 3 for $10, so they're practically disposable. I was a 44 DD at surgery, and they were super comfy in the hospital. I wouldn't wear them out, though...they aren't the most flattering.

From a female perspective, I'm also really enjoying myself. My theory is that my fat surrounded the most important organ and nerves making everything less sensitive.
My sex life had not been up to par for years, but I chalked it up to being older, having kids, and working a high-stress job. It turns out, I just wasn't getting everything I needed because of the fat. Now, holy cow, I feel good!

I don't particularly like cauliflower, but with strong- flavored sauces (e.g. curry, gochuchang), riced cauliflower is tasty and satisfying.

Different people have different nutritional requirements. There are people who thrive on virtually no carbs, and others need carbs to function well. My NP recommends carbs before working out, but I've never heeded her advice because I don't need to.
The best diet is one you'll follow. Find the balance of foods that make you feel great and still lose weight. Make a healthy eating plan you'll want to stick to. If you do have no-no foods, just make sure you're staying within your calories and Protein.

I practice 16/8 intermittent fasting, so I don't eat breakfast. I have never cared for breakfast anyway.

Start tracking your calories in myfitnesspal.com. Chances are, if you're not losing it's because your calories are too high.

My evaluation was scheduled for 45 minutes, but only took half an hour.

I woke up and I was totally wasted, feeling no pain. I was relieved it was over, but mostly I was just high. My husband was waiting in my room, but I sent him to work because I was too far gone to be decent company or appreciate his efforts.

Ow! I ripped off my big toenail in Tae Kwon Do last September. I couldn't wear shoes for two weeks. I do love kicking things, though.

I second this. I eat what my family eats. I just watch my portion sizes. That having been said, I serve my family food I can eat. No Pasta and potatoes on our table. We have scrambled eggs and ham for breakfast, I eat a P3 for lunch, and dinner might be salmon with mashed cauliflower and a green salad.I eat a perfectly normal dinner of whatever I would normally feed my family. I have 1/2 of a jimmy deans delight sandwich for Breakfast (high protein), a lean cuisine meal for lunch (15 - 20 gr protein) and a normal dinner. Last night I made beef and broccoli in the crock pot and had that with rice. Remember to take an entire 25 minutes to eat each meal and do not drink before and after and you should stay full for 5 1/2 hours.Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App[/quot

At 6 weeks out I started taking Tae Kwon Do four days a week. I'm now a green belt and I love it! It's cardio, strength training, and flexibility all in one. Now, I can do the splits, and I've started sparring. The down side is I kicked the target wrong last year and lost a toenail...and it grew back really wonky.

I take tincture sublingually. It works a bit faster than edibles without the calories. It's great for my pain and insomnia.
Actually, I'll sometimes take it when I'm obsessing over food. It takes my mind off things.

The key to WLS isn't losing weight. It's maintaining loss. However, your odds of maintaining a huge loss are much, much greater with WLS than without.
