I had my surgery July 13th, make sure you get up and walk ASAP after the surgery while your in the hospital, that helps relieve pain. If you have gas pain try the chewable gas ex pills and try laying on your left side with a pillow between your legs and your right leg slightly hanging over your left, that helps tremendously. Has anyone found an alternative to the Bariatric fusion chewable vitamins? They taste absolutely horrible to me, sometimes I'm able to choke them down without spitting them and sometimes the taste gets to me and I can't handle it and spit them out. Any Suggestions?

If it is gas pain try laying down on your left side and put a pillow between your legs with your right leg slightly hanging over your left, that should help push gas out effortlessly, have you tried chewable gas ex at all?

Thank you Cervidae I'm doing great otherwise, I have no problems moving around or walking whatsoever, I walk a lot, I was discharged from the hospital after 24hrs because I was up and walking a lot within an hour of going to my room after surgery. Thank you for your advice!

Have you tried putting a teaspoon of Peanut Butter in your shake? It's extra Protein as well

Hi y'all I had gastric bypass surgery on 7/13/16, everything went very well, I was only in the hospital overnight and I've had no pain or problems maintaining hydration. Yesterday I was told I can start the puréed part of the diet, Ive started off with cream based Soups and if there is anything in it I just blend it prior to consuming. My problem is I am consuming things slowly but I never feel full, is this normal? Is it basically because things are somewhat in liquid form?
