    Fourth year psychology research survey

Thank you! Oh no, I wonder why that is... some strange things going on with that survey! I'll see if I can fix it. Thanks again. Ashley.
  7. Hello, I am a fourth year Psychology student doing my Thesis on Successful outcomes for Obesity and inparticular looking at psychological support after surgery, but also looking at attitudes or people with or without surgery. We need 600 participants so if anyone can PLEASE spare half and hour or so to take our survey that would be great! Some of the options for the answers are worded strangely for example "a little" and "not much" there is no clear destinction, but please just imagine it on on a scale! The results will be made available to you, and you might learn something about yourself! Thank you!!!! Ashley. Just click on the following site - its COMPLETELY anonymous. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FHSTJ6D (Or cut and paste the link)
  8. Thank you so much!!! I'm sorry it is a bit lengthy but hopefully it will turn into some worthwhile research!

  11. Hi, I am a fourth year Psychology student doing my Thesis on successful outcomes for obesity, and I have posted my survey here in the hope I will get a few people to help with this research. The research aims at finding long term solutions to obesity and looks at success after bariatric surgery. You will be asked a series of questions that relate to your personality and feelings. It will help you better understand your relationship with food and society. I hope to take the reluts to the Australian Society for Obesity on completion, you will be given the results as well. Thank you in advance! Please click on the link below, it is completly anonymous, Ashley. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8KR7B3V
  12. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to do our survey. I know it can be tedious, so thank you so much, its really appreciated. The results will be analysed once we reach 600 participants, and shared for all to see (still totally anonymous). Ashley.

  14. Hello, Thank you very much for partly taking the survey, I can see how that may have been confusing, but as we have written the survey to be completed by those who have had surgery as well as those who have not. If you answered the questions as "not at all" that is fine as that is how you are NOW and we would be able to see that you no longer have those problems. If you would like to take it again, or pick up where you left off that would be great, but if not thats ok. I understand it can seem misleading. Ashley.

  16. Hello, No it's for anyone who has had the surgery or is in an obese weight range over over 30BMI. We are interested in both those who have had surgery and those who have not. Thank you! Ashley.

  18. Thank you so much, really appreciated. There is now a button that asks when you had the surgery, so if possible you can go back and add that anwer in. Thats, ok, I think many people will have their own unique experience such as yourself, but I am hoping the data will still be relevent for the research to show the results I'm hoping for!! Thanks, again, Ashley.

  20. Thank you, very much appreciated. Ashley.
  21. Thank you! This is my first survey, and there are a couple of things I would change if possible but unfortunately its not - for example the scale in some of the questions has strange wording, but this is how it appears in the satandardised measures we are using and can not change it. We assumed it was "American English, but alas... it is not..." Thanks so much for your help! ASHLEY.
  22. Thank you for taking the survey, it is greatly appreciated. That is a good idea, and I will see what we can do. This is my first survey, and so far we are so delighted at the results coming in. Thanks again for your inpu. Ashley.
  23. P.S We assumed the "a ittle, "not so much" etc was American English!
