  1. I didn't do that good getting the meat down. For now it would be a less likely part of my meals lol, other than that i felt good. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App
  2. That was my first time adding my unflavored Protein to my food. Next time i will add the Protein powder to half a cup of Water until its a pancake like batter then add it to my food. It broke down in the spinach pretty good but not as good as i wanted it too. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

Yeah as of now i don't recommend it.... that was my first time having bread and it got me full way too quick and i didn't benefit off it really. I could've wasted that space in my stomach on a Protein shake. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

    Can use some recipe advice

Im finding out every dietitian has different plans... everyone is saying bread is a nono for them but i was allowed it after 4 weeks and my weight has still been dropping pretty good. Im glad i dont have the strict diet everyone else has. I hit it stall for 2 weeks (because i wasnt eating) soon as i upped my calories and Protein my weight started dropping. I just follow my book to the T and does everything it says. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

    Can use some recipe advice

First recipe i came up with, simple but the best thing I've eaten so far. Just toast spreaded with ricotta cheese 1 piece of turkey bacon cut in half and an egg with ketchup for added flavor... do you guys think the ketchup will do me any harm weight loss wise?? Guys who started over 400 lbs.

Down 177lbs in 6months now. The best advice i can give is follow your surgeons orders to a T. Drink lots of Water and cut out all carbs and sugars. I pretty much eat Proteins and veggies. I also exercise pretty much every single day. I hope to hit my goal weight by my one year anniversary.Where do you get your proteins from and what type of exercise do you do and how long? 12. Good feeling that I'm finally able to get some exercise in. Cant do close to what i was able to do prior to surgery but I'm back climbing and body is still healing. Best advice i was given from my bariatric pals was take your time and don't rush back into working out. Because i worked out 7 days after surgery and it was the worse mistake. Had severe stomach pains (almost thought i needed to go to the ER) and headaches and i felt drained and nauseated. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App
  13. Been hearing about a lot of different sleeve stories. And I'm curious about what others people sleeve can handle that they thought couldn't, and what people's sleeve can't handle that they thought would be able to. Been hearing about people able to drink regular pop and eat high in calorie/fat fried foods early-on without experiencing dumping syndrome or anything. How restricted is your sleeve and how far out did you realize it? Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App
  14. I told my self before i had surgery, the day i get back home from the hospital I'm hitting the gym. Sadly, that didn't happen i totally under estimated the pain lol. I was laid up for 6 days, told my self as soon as i get back mobile and the pain is gone and this drain is out of my stomach I'm hitting the gym. After the pain was gone then i went to my 1 week post-op appointment... BOOM... i catch a cold sore throat and a fever and back laid up on bed rest. I was depressed on how my success will be and how much weight i will lose due to my inactivity. But gladly, the weight has been losing it self and at a satisfying rate and i couldn't be happier. It just show me that my results will be much better when i get back in the gym and start working out. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

    2 Weeks Post-Op 20 Pounds Down

im not trying to be a gloomy gus and it may not happen this way to you but I lost 20 lbs in two weeks also and now 6 weeks out and for the past month I only have lost 10 lbs I hear that this is normal so don't be upset if it slows down, it will start back upYeah i heard its normal and im totally prepared for it, its called a stall i believe. When the time come when the scale reads the same for 2 weeks im gonna stay off the scale for 3 weeks and let it pass. I heard how long the stall lasts depends on how the person handles it. How restricted is your sleeve?

I wait like 45 seconds to a Minute between each bite, im only 12 days post op tho so i haven't really ate any real food yet lol. But i can relate tho, i usually cook my food to a high temp to discipline me from eating too fast. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

  21. Hello everyone, first off.... im a bit discouraged and frustrated. I see everyone having success within days of surgery already losing 5-10 pounds... Im a man, went into surgery 4 days ago weighing 428.8 pounds. As of today i weigh 430.4 pounds. I dont have an appetite, can barely get much liquids down i consume under 500 calories a day. I drink a 100 calorie 11 oz 15g Protein shake everyday, i break it down in 3 seperate meals because my stomach is so tight and i cant get much liquids down. I am very bloated my stomach feels HEAVY having alot of gas and i cant poop because whenever i strain on the toilet my stomach begins to hurt.... (sorry if thats too much info) Im 21 years of age 6'1 inches tall and trying to figure out why im not having the same sucess everyone else is having. Im following my book. Not eating anything thats prohibited and i dont have cravings or even an appetite. Please help... Sent from my SM-N920T using the BariatricPal App
  22. So, in a couple minutes i will be leaving for my 1 week post op appointment. And i must say this week was a roller coaster (somewhat). First couple days home i hated drinking, it was very painful. Doc got me pretty tight and it is actually an upside because it gives me more restraint. Was slightly depressed because the scale wasn't moving the first few days and i was jealous of everyone else's post op scale dropping results LOL. But out of no where i had dramatic drop on the scale (just like my Bariatric Pals told would happen) dropped 6 pounds 2 days ago, and dropped 4.6 pounds since then. So my 1 week post op results is 10.6 pounds. Sometimes i get hella hungry but the scale has been good to me and i dont plan on mistreating her anytime soon (unless i run into a stall i will have no control over). So ready to get this tube taken out my stomach so i can work out. Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

OK... so be honest with me...

I would be sarcastic and say (*eats popcorn) to show you all how entertained i am by the hilarious responses of this thread. But I'm 1 week post op and my sleeve just won't allow it Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App

1 Week (4 Days Post Op) Gastric Sleeve

I know, i had my 1 week post op appointment today. Lost 12 pounds from my surgery weight. Jumped from 428.8 to 416 in 7 days.... scale was acting so stubborn the first 4 days then boom had a dramatic drop on day 5 then again today when i weighed in. Was so happy. Now im even more motivated to stick to the script and keep on keeping on Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App
