Since my first fill on 8/5/16 I have had a nasty cough with a lot of mucus. That being said, I have not had any running nose or allergies to be causing this. Is this the "slime" i have read a little on? Again, I know this is gross, but once I cough it out I am ok for awhile. Is this lapband related? Sometimes it seems like it is from my lungs but other times I think it is just from my throat.

It does seem to be worse after I eat.

I am 12 days post op and i am STARVING. I have been watching portions but I have yet to fill full. My first fill is not until August 29.

Mine were removed at my first post-op appointment 8 days out; however, the tape seemed to pull my incisions open a little again. Yesterday one really came open (not bloody just a hole). I cleaned it well and put a butterfly bandage on it. Talk to your doctor's office about it.

It's been a rough few days. How are you?

I just had mine today. I'm in a considerable amount of pain but am determined to keep moving forward.

I am scheduled for lap band with plication on 7/13/16. I am 43, f, m, working full time in OK, and wanting to lose 85 lbs.

Anyone else starting their journey in July? I am scared, worried, excited and trying so hard to stay motivated.
