Thank you for sticking with it. Blizair, I would encourage you to stick it out as well. This site is about what we gain from it, but also about how we are able to help those that come after us. I hate that so many people jumped ship. But I also have no reason to doubt anything that Alex said about what happened.

We got great news today! We found out Tuesday my SIL was NOT a candidate for liver because she was too unhealthy to make it through transplant. Well, Today her own liver is showing signs of improvement! They think that if her liver gets healthy enough, her kidneys may begin to function again. She is also awake, alert and may be able to come off the vent. Thanks so much for all of your prayers! Someone is really watching out for her upstairs.

Well. I did it. I mean I REALLY DID IT!!! Hot Chocolate 15k here in Chicago today. Had two buddies from HS at my side, as we cajoled and dragged each other to the finish line. An amazing feeling, really was!!! I could see this becoming addictive. There is one in Atlanta in January. Hmmmmm. But seriously. If I can, anyone can!!!

Well, so last week Friday i had that epidural and i had 2 full days without pain for the first time in 1.5 years. Bad news is, the pain is back in full force. Good news is, I talked with the doc and they said that because i went too full days without pain they know they have the right area. So now we are going to give it a couple of weeks and we may go back and do a second epidural. I am still very hopeful after talking with him.
