My sister has been on a keto diet for about a month and has broken out into a pretty bad rash. (No WL surgery). Anyone ever dealt with this? Any tips on losing the rash but sticking with the diet?

Totally off topic but looking for advice from anywhere

I see solid answers to your posts, "What is a plateau, I've never heard of a plateau" and "What's a good gift for my surgeon"... -

Pay the $400 for an inspection. You don't want to miss something bc you wanted to skimp out on it. And, it will be leverage for your ultimate price in the end. -
I drink a lot of coffee. No problems here.

It will still work. -
Blender Recommendations?

A cheap one. I got a Ninja, but only used it like 10 times. I had a short period before soft foods were allowed, and really just made sure to chew everything really really well. -
Sciatica is one of the problems I was having before surgery. I am 6 months post op, down 85 lbs, and I still feel it. It is better, probably much better, but I still feel it every other day or so. I think it could resolve given more time to heal, and maybe with more lost weight.

A nervous beginner seeking encouragement
sc101071 replied to JessNewGoals25's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You certainly have to consider the possible problems that you might experience, but the odds of complications are very very low. It's normal to feel nervous. This surgery is a miracle. I weigh less than I did in high school, and though my weight loss has slowed, I am still losing and have lost my obsession with food. That happened over night. Keep thinking of the reasons you want to take the plunge. Keep looking at before and after pictures on this site. Meet people through whatever program you choose for surgery. -

Eating out 21 days post op? What should I order
sc101071 replied to krystalk86's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would stay with soft, meaning fish. Not fried. And remember, you'll still be able to only get very little in. Don't be tempted by any appetizers your family might order. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Studies show that people the skip breakfast consume more calories in the late day causing more intake than those that to eat breakfast. That said, I would think that someone sleeved would not follow that pattern due to restriction. Only concern I would think is making sure you hit your Protein goals if you aren't eating in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
