Pre/Post Surgical Plans Are Not Required

WLS - That was in response to this comment: @sc101071 -- This means you. WLSResources/ClothingExch, on 13 Aug 2016 - 18:16, said: I appreciate the last you wrote. I'm not here to fight. That's why I deleted my keeper of the weight loss post. I'll stand up for what I think is right, but I'm not here to get into it with others.

Lipstick, I've been nothing but respectful and never implied anyone "STFU". Maybe it's that kind of abrasiveness that gets me. And the girl didn't seek permission. She doesn't need your permission. She sought knowledge based on others experiences. Yes, maybe it was early, I wouldn't do it, but at least she asked and then got run out of the room. WLS- I don't care what you think of me, or the length of time on this board or dealing with all things sleeve, but I do know that ive read everything I can and taken every piece of advice from my doc to heart. You keep talking down to people if it makes you feel all mighty on a message board. At least there are those here with pure intent to help others without belittling. Lots of people out there make fun of fat people to make themselves feel better or superior. I guess the obese have to fall back on our wits. Mocking these people is not supportive. The way things are handled by many on here will only drive people away. If it's really your care for these people remember that. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I just don't get why certain people get so angry. Worry about yourself. You aren't here to save all of us. I read a post earlier where a girl who was told not to drink for the rest of her life by her surgeon asked when other people's doctors allowed for alcohol. So many people going on and on and denigrating people for seeking guidance others have also received from their medical doctors. Her question was not out of line. The responses, not addressing her question at all, were.

  15. Some pain in the abdomen, but you'll be pretty out of it. Pain meds help. The worst for me was the wrenching in my stomach when I would sip Water. That wasn't the worst pain I've ever had, but wasn't fun. My doc had me sipping an oz of water over every hour once I was awake. Getting up the first time hurt, but moving helped. Much easier getting up the second time. Next day built up to 8oz of water over an hour. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  20. Take a cup of Kosher salt and add Water to a bowl. Let the breast rest in the brine for an hour before drying and cooking. Locks in the moisture. Tastes awesome. **edit- doesn't actually lock moisture in, it draws moisture in and make it juicier.

Stomach pain but unless something unexpected crops up things are going great. Thanks for this group. It's very much helped me to get where I am, and I know it's only begun.
