I was gonna say I tried all these meds but what wound up working for me was peppermint candies.. I eat them BEFORE I know I'm likely to get nauseous (i.e. I lay there and eat one before I get out of bed and only after it's down for a couple minutes do I try to get up.

I was sleeved on July 18th and every since I have had problems with nausea. At first I would get nauseous before I go to bed or I would wake up in the middle of the night nauseous, but now I'm experiencing it at night and in the morning when I get up. Sometimes I vomit, but mostly I just dry heave because there is nothing in my stomach to throw up. My doctor has prescribed transdermal nausea Patches and zofran but it's still happening. Anyone else going through this or have been through this? I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I could do to decrease the nausea?

I second what @@4MRB4PHOTO said. I work 12 - 18 hour days so I completely understand not having time to make healthy meals which is why I prep everything on the weekend. I have every lunch, dinner, and snack made for the week so I never have to worry about it. Having everything made and ready also means I can't use the excuse of not having something on hand to eat crap lying around at work. Plus, because I made everything, I know exactly what's in it. I've developed a bit of a tupperware collection!

I'm 6 weeks post op today and I've lost 70 lbs. I started at 338 and weigh 268 today. I don't like the Protein Shakes because I'm allergic to whey and other milk products, but I can eat sausage, eggs, bacon, hamburger patties, pork chops, and almost every kind of meat. I drink only Water and Powerade Zero and I feel really good. I exercised in the beginning, but my stomach problems caused me to get too weak, along with the inability to drink the shakes. My blood pressure is now normal. Two years ago I weighed 440+ lbs. I am so happy that I did have the sleeve. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. Here are some pics in progression   . I hope to lose at least 70 more lbs. in the next 10-11 months.
