Hit dogs will holler!!!! But I'm guessing it's a post surgery hormone they inject in some. I've read post and watched videos of how after surgery ppl tend to turn into mean b*****s. Is there a reason you suspect a leak? It is unlikely you can have a test done and paid for just to ease your mind with no symptoms or problems. If you are following your surgeon's instructions and not going off the diet plan, following up with your surgeon when required and have no symptoms then I would not worry. My program requires a shake for breakfast one for lunch and a prepared meal like lean cuisine, Snacks could be almonds or eggs if I wanted a snack. I'm so happy I don't have to do clear liquids. I agree with the therapist comment. Also, contact your insurance and ask how long the approval is good for. I see some post said they were approved and had so many months to get the surgery done. That should give you time to see the therapist and make up your mind. I also have problems with emotional eating i I plan on seeing my psych a few more times to help me get on the right path. Ok great!!!! My psych will call me Monday to schedule, she said they should be able to fit me in this week. Fingers crossed. Your Drs office counts your 1st visit as a nutrition visit? I need to call my insurance to clarify. They have me set up for my first NUT visit on Aug 1. I did meet with a dietician but idk what all falls under those parameters. I had my first appt on July 21st. I met one of their RNs, my dietician, my surgeon and got labs drawn. Everyone was super nice and explained everything in detail. My financial coordinator is on top of everything. I have BCBS federal insurance and they only require a 3 month or 90 day supervised wt loss. Im so very excited, but I feel like I have a lot to do within those 90 days. I need a sleep study, medical clearance from my PCP and hematologist ( I had a DVT diagnoses in Feb), need to lose 10#, psych eval, chest X-ray, PFT, EKG, and ABG, and sit in an education class. My insurance is amazing. I feel like this is going to go by super fast. I'm praying for a November 2016 surgery date. My dets: I'm 34, 5'2, 228. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
