  1. You won't need pain meds.
  2. I was a total whack job about 1 month after surgery!
  3. Change the food up. Don't eat same thing everyday like I did and I increased excercise.
  4. I felt the same way 2 months post op. I got myself on better vitamins with electrolytes. It helped a lot and I also drank more water and increased protein. Good luck!
  5. Yes I gained 5 lbs back recently and that really scared me! I NEVER want to go back to that lost lonely hole again! I keep thinking how horrible I felt 90 pounds ago! I started walking and really watching what I was putting in my mouth. Protein first - awareness of feelings and stuffing food! No more! Go back to basics. Remember where you were- what it took to get here today! You can do it! Good luck and keep me posted please!
  6. I could not eat beef for about 9 months- too heavy- I eat chicken fish yogurt cottage cheese and protein shakes made with kale protein power crush flax seed with some frozen fruit. I'm 16 months out lost 90 pounds . I do need to lose 15 more so I must increase my walking. and change up foods a bit- hard boil eggs are also a good fix. Protein is so important. I also had hair loss and that has cycled through and getting better. We made this decision for life and I'm so much better off mentally and physically because of this surgery saved my life. I was 62 yo when I had surgery- out of work 3 weeks. I remain grateful

  8. Expect to be emotional. The weight comes off quickly and it's a whole new different mind set. You'll need to be aware of emotional eating because no more over eating when stressed etc. Protein protein protein and Vitamins daily. Best wishes. Stay positive! I have no regrets- I never want to go back to a living hell. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
