Feeling light headed

Hey guys need some advice. Its been 2 weeks since my surgery and I've been feeling light headed a little. I try my best to get my protein and water. I haven't taken vitamins yet and maybe that's it or maybe because of the major changes to my body. I just feel weak and light headed sometimes. Is it normal? What can I do?:/

Are you on blood pressure medicine? I was experiencing that too, checked my bp and it was 90/55. I had to stop my meds.

Gabby, there are so many things that could cause this. You should have your levels checked. First reaction is low sodium but it's impossible to know. Try drinking something with electrolytes (Powerade zero or something similar).

I felt the same way 2 months post op. I got myself on better vitamins with electrolytes. It helped a lot and I also drank more water and increased protein. Good luck!

I got the same way 2 weeks post op. I was dehydrated. They told me i had to drink more water and gave me an IV right in Dr office than i had to go to infusion center next morning for another liter of fluids. I was scared and weak. Drink plenty of water.
