What happened to Jolly? Thanks for all the b-day wishes for DD. She had a great day yesterday! DH bought her a REAL fishing pole and she can't wait to go! He is planning a day to take her next week. Today was a special day. This is the date, four years ago, that my beautiful daughter was born! She is the light of my life and she is my heart! Love ya all!

Hi. Very late post. It's 10:30 here. We haven't been home since 8:45 this morning! We took DD to preschool and stayed to help and brought cupcakes for everyone to celebrate her b-day (tomorrow). Then as soon as we were done there, headed to Fresno. What a very LONG day! Got home to find only ONE dog on the deck, not THREE! DH books it into the house to see what's going on, only to find the girls in the house!!!!! WTH!!!! Nothing in the house has been gone thru or appears to be missing and there is easy stuff to take if they wanted. Called the sheriff's dept anyway and a deputy came out. We aren't sure what happened. Only things we can think of are: 1. Dakota was barking too much and a neighbor climbed over the locked gate on the 2nd story deck and let the girls in the house. 2. The bedroom door wasn't latched somehow and the girls got in the house and then one of them leaned against the door and shut it. 3. (My idea and WAY farfetched) Someone let the girls in the house to steal Reggie and couldn't figure out how to get him off the deck! LOL! My other thought is someone started to come in to rob the place and got interrupted and left. The girls would have stayed in the house and Reggie would have followed them back out but I don't think anyone would stop to shut the door. Also, if you saw 3 dogs, 1 a huge 90lb'er, would you seriously come in that way? NO! I'd leave those damn things on their own and break a window at ground level on the other side of the house! Anyway, part of reporting it was/is in case there is a trend started/ing in the neighborhood. Also, 2 years ago, about this time of year, our car and one truck were burglarized in our driveway, while we were home! So now we lock them. But there was a trend and so it was important for the cops to know about it. Also, if we do find something is gone or happened later, they already know about it and we just open a case file at that point. And if we have to report it to insurance, we have a paper trail. So. I'm exhausted and a little achy but otherwise fine. Well, a little freaked out too but that's getting better. Off to a couple of other sites then off to bed. I hope y'all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Don't think I'm going to apply at Curves after all. The hours are Monday, 6-10AM and Tuesday 2-7PM. Daycare opens at 6AM and closes at 6PM. Ain't gonna work if DH is out on a fire and I have to use daycare. She did say there is always the potential for more hours as the girls are always wanting time off but the 2 for sure days just are not going to work. :tongue2:(

A Guide to Ending Compulsive Eating I'll have to take a good look at them when I get them and see. Probably the oldest first. The workbook kinda scares me! I just ordered them today. Free shipping at Barnes and Noble and 2 of them are only costing me about $11 each!! Score! I'll be at the shop probably all day. My friend is going to use my truck again to move some stuff so I'll stay this afternoon and man the shop for her. She has another friend who is coming with her DH and their truck today so she'll have help! I fell awful when I can't help her move things. It's not my nature! Looks like rain again. Snow never materialized here but up higher it did. It's a cold one! Have a beautiful day, ladies!

One is a workbook! :thumbup: Scary thought but I need to figure out why I do this to myself. It sucks! I didn't have SURGERY only to fail at that too! :smile2: Quiet morning. Sun is out so far but we're supposed to get rain/snow later. Nothing materialized last night so who knows! Oh, Tracy! As far as unplugging things goes. I have ALL of our electronics on surge protectors and when not in use or we go to bed, they all get turned off. I noticed our bill go down when we started doing that. There is one at DH's computer with ALL of that stuff plugged in, one at my desk with all of my stuff plugged in and one with each of the TV set ups. If they aren't in use, the protectors are turned OFF! Better get going. Have a great day!

Kat, just go to bed, hon. You can get up when Rick gets home. Went by Curves this afternoon to pick up an app and they were closed! They only open 8-11:30 on Saturdays. I'll have to try again on Monday. I'm tired. Going to watch another hour or so of TV then head to bed. 'Night!

I just can't seem to stop eating. :thumbup: I made a fill appt for the 3rd but not sure I actually need a fill. I think I just need some tape over my mouth. :smile: Kat, the spill is such a mess. I sure hope they can figure out something fast. Last night on the late news they were saying that Kevin Costner had spent A LOT of years and about 24 million on this device that sucks oiled water up, cleans ALL of the oil out and puts the water back while tanking the oil. They are going to start using 6 of these devices in the next couple of days. My prayers are that they work and work WELL! Suzanne, I saw an ad for our local Curves. They are hiring right now! I've always thought it'd be fun to work there. I liked working OUT there when I could afford it. I emailed them and I'm going to stop by this AM and get an app before DD and I head to the shop! I am REALLY hoping I get it. Only problem is I can only work during the week and can't open or close b/c of childcare issues. Figuring that will knock me out of the running. I told them that in the email. We'll see what happens. Hi Bethany, Angela and Cindy!! DD and I will be at the shop today. My friend is going to use my DH's truck to move some of the bigger stuff out today so we'll cover while she's doing that. Well better get to it. We might get snow tonight! LOL!!!!

Unfortunately we need the $200 that I'm making from it. I'm kinda looking for something else. I inquired with the local boys and girls club about a position they had but they want someone every saturday for 6 hours plus another 6 hours during the week. I can't do saturdays as I don't have any child care for DD. Oh well. I'll keep my eyes and ears open. All of my jobs have just sort of landed in my lap so I'll be patient and see what happens. And in reality, I'm just 3 weeks out from surgery so I really can't be doing a whole lot right now anyway. I hope y'all have a wonderful day!

Suzanne, so glad you slept well! Have fun sewing today! As far as crocheting, find a yarn store nearest you and go explore. Talk to those that work there and if you like them and the store, ind out if they do lessons. Most shops do. They should have beginner lessons. Then you can see if it's something you want to do and you can proceed from there with more lessons or online youtube lessons or buying how-to booklets. Tray, have fun at the movies! Let us know how you like the movie. Later DD and I are going out to the school to participate in Relay for Life. This is the 11th year in our little area. Our event has raised over 1 million dollars since we started! our church team alone had raised nearly 150 thousand!!! Our area raises more money at our events than do larger areas in CA!! Very exciting!! Anyway, not much else on tap for the day. Oh, we do need to go to the grocery store for a couple of things. One slice of bread left! Have a beautiful day!!

Hi Ladies! Suzanne, you know you have my prayers and best wishes thru all of this. You can NOT stress out on "what ifs," it will make you crazy!!! Hugs! Not much going on. Was at the shop this AM. Enrolled DD in a Day Care on those days that she can't be with me or I need a break and I took her over there for the first time this AM. She loved it and is absolutely exhausted! LOL! She asked me if next time she could stay and lay down with the other kids! She NEVER takes a nap anymore so that was a pretty big statement! Hope everyone is having a good day!

I am so mad at myself!! Didn't have time to eat before we left the house this AM so after I dropped DD at preschool, I had some time and decided to go to my fav place and grab a breakfast burrito to take to the shop. I started eating and sure enough a couple of bites in, got stuck!!! So much for breakfast! I HATE when I do that and I know better and yet I still do it!! Thank GOD no customer came in while I was hacking in the bathroom! So, here I am working on an atkins shake and it's having a hard time going down! On liquids for at least the rest of the day. I'd like to damn the burrito but it was my own dumb fault! So, that's been my day so far! Hugs Ladies!

Morning! Kat, not ALL of Christmas figured out, just the stuff that I'm making! LOL! I'm not THAT good! And actually, this is the first time, I've been on the ball and EARLY!!! But just b/c I have the yarn doesn't mean the stuff is MADE yet!!!! :crying: Tracy, if she hates the blanket, I'll send it to you! And you can't switch with me, I love winter! All of my friends are hollering at the weather man and I'm loving all this rain and now snow! DH went back to work today instead of tomorrow. The other captain needed off for some appointments for his son. He's got some health issues and they're trying to figure out what's going on. He's only 7?, maybe 8? Little guy. They are talking Fibro Myalsia! Poor baby! Anyway, DH went in so Hutch could be with his family today for the tests and doc appts. DD and I are headed out soon. We are going to stop by a Day Care this AM to talk to them about getting her signed up and look at the facility. I need somewhere to be able to drop her off if I have an appt or something. I think she would like it too. I still think about getting a little part-time job this summer and I would need care for her on the days DH is at work. Then it's off to the yarn shop for a couple of hours. After that, we'll see what the day brings! Have a beautiful day!

We had a nice layer of SNOW this morning!!! We are supposed to warm up for the weekend. I'll believe it when I feel it! LOL!!!! Picked up more yarn today while I was at the shop. I needed to figure out what I wanted to do for my niece's Christmas blanket. I'm making her one and I asked her brother what her favorite color is - pink. Okay! That can go any number of directions!!!!! Anyway, there is this yarn that has 3 shades of "heather pink." From a rose to a medium to a light. I've made up a combination of the 3 shades to do a 'pink' blanket. It'll be a grown up pink. Geez, I hope she likes it! :scared2: So, that's the last of the project yarn I need for Christmas presents. Unless I think of something else to make! LOL!!! Cindy, I know where your kids are coming from! I always hated the final weeks of school! I just wanted out for the summer already! LOL!!! Have fun with all of the graduation stuff for Alex! Tracy, feeling better? Suzanne, I don't want anything to be wrong with your knee but it would be nice to know what's going on. Best wishes with the testing. Kat, you sound busy and rushed! Take a breath!!! I think our family is finally OKAY!! Whew! It's funny b/ everyone always says how they wish the weekend didn't end, and yet I couldn't wait for it to end! LOL!! Suzanne and Kat, you both have been busy!!! I'm going to buy the dogs some sort of metal trough for the water! Reggie keeps dumping the bowls, metal or not. The one he chewed up is supposed to be indestructible. It's like molded fibrous plastic. Not the regular plastic kind at all. And THICK! The darn things are heavy even when empty! Food bowls get picked up after feedings, so those I don't have to worry about. Feeling okay. Just a lot of gas and that I can deal with! One good thing about that is I'm not as hungry as I normally would be! LOL! Tho I haven't been my normal hungry since surgery, even after I got my appetite back! I'm hoping this feeling sticks around! Suzanne, great pics! Thanks for sharing! Kat, I agree. Enough with the cloak and dagger stuff! It's childish! Have a beautiful night!

Thanks for the update. You sound on top of the world! The shakes sound interesting but I can't do natural whey protein. I have a slight allergy to whey, can do milk, cheese, other dairy but when I go the full-board whey protein, it closes up my throat! Not fun!!! Otherwise they sound great!!! Thanks for sharing! Feeling okay today. The "bug" hit me yesterday. So far today is okay but I just ate so we'll see what happens. Also completely wiped out from the last couple of days. Luckily DH is back on his feet now so he can take over again! Clouds are rolling in after a sunny early morning. Supposed to get a small storm coming in tonight. Have a beautiful day!!! Yep, in the ambulance - 102. Still not feeling good. Belly is uncomfortable when I eat. And now Michael is down with something. His belly hurts too and he's got diarrhea. Something is going on!

Good morning! Doing okay. Still wiped out. But trying to do better today. DH and I analyzed everything from yesterday on the way home last night and we determined that I plain just probably hadn't eaten enough. I had an atkins shake that AM then sat down and did paperwork for church. Missing a morning snack. Then we went to pick DD up from preschool, then to lunch, then to the grocery store. At lunch I only had a cup of slit pea Soup but we figured my system was already crashing before the soup could get there to help. By the time I got to the store, literally next parking lot over, I was in trouble. That's the ONLY thing we can come up with. I haven't been very hungry lately so I haven't been eating like I usually do. Guess I'd better pay attention now. DD seems fine this AM. I'll find out later if I'm still banned from the grocery store! LOL! Poor thing! Hope y'all have a great day!

Love your updates, Tina! Hope the BF can work things out in his head for himself. I know he went thru the wringer too and he's just feeding off of that right now. Have you two thought about a little counseling? Might not hurt and may help both of you figure out good, healthy ways to deal with his fears. You both have been thru so much!
