  1. I was sleeved on the 29th. I think I'm doing great for the most part and I have yet to go to my 1st post-op appointment. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using the BariatricPal App
  2. So far, no regrets for the surgery itself. I'm only 8 days post-op, though. Yes, the constant discomfort from gas is bothersome but I hope it will get less frequent at some point. Perhaps, I regret not doing it sooner and/or gotten to the point where I needed the surgery. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using the BariatricPal App
  3. How can you tell if you have a hernia? Also, I noticed that since surgery I have a bruise between 2 incisions. It has been gettimg darker and if I put any pressure on it, I can feel a hard bump over it. What could that be? I have never had any sort of surgery, so I might be over thinking or making something out of nothing. I just need some piece of mind. I won't be to the surgeon's office until next Friday. Thanks! 5. Yes, I have and I don't have trouble with broth as it is a light liquid as Water... my problem occurs when I try to drink anything thicker than Clear liquids. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using the BariatricPal App
  6. I had my surgery on 6/29/16, I'm feeling great, pain is manageable with the pains meds given and I could easily fool myself into thinking that I didn't have any surgery if it wasn't for the incisions. However, I'm having problems eating. I can easily drink Clear liquids at room temperature but the moment I switch to a Protein shake, yogurt, or applesauce I start having spasms or pain in my stomach. I take baby sips. In almost a week, I have only drank about 10 oz of Proteins shakes and 2-3 oz of yougurt plus all the clear liquids. Is this normal? How long before I can start handling anything other that clear liquids with more ease? I need more nourishment in my opinion, if not just more calories. Any feedback is appreciated. 7. I was able to sleep on my belly on the second night without problem. I can't sleep very well otherwise. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using the BariatricPal App
