We all love food, if not we'd be twig b****es (Fat Amy quote lol) So figured we share ideas on food finds. For those who have an HEB (grocery) and like salmon or trying to learn to like it like I am. They have these pin wheels that is salmon with feta cheese and spinach that aren't too bad. Also nestle has a sugar free nesquick that's still tasty. And found that I can tolerate dark coffee roast more than light, which I always hated lol. Easiest for me to do is shrimp.

I'm allowed flat soda, know its not the same and I have no interest in it but maybe try that

Hey there hun, I was a band to sleeve revision, 20 days post op. Had no problems with scar tissue, my doctor actually reused my main scar to help minimize new scars. I had pouch dilation, a slip, turned out when they went in all my sutures to my stomach had came undone & band moved causing dilation to my lower esophagus. I feel 100x's better with that contraption out, I was sick for 5yrs with it. Started march 2008 banded (out of pocket) at 230, lowest 149 (for like a month), back to 198.5 when I had revision. I'm currently down 17.7lbs. Best decision I've made.

Update: hormel purées are gross, lol. Better to do it your self.

Recommend even though you're not interested, put something sexy on and just go through the motions. My first time after surgery I had to too and something didn't click until doing that. Mentally you're just not wanting anything, but going through the motions Animal instincts will kick in and you'll be good to go. It's a good release for you and your hubby.

We do fruitables or v8 juices, veggie chips, motts veggie/fruit snacks

I know that's tough, it always sucks to diet with a man, the support is great but ever so frustrating since they seem to lose like 5xs faster lol. Benefit of losing more slowly is you can workout and try to keep the skin from getting as saggy. I know not the most motivating statements but thought I'd try to help.

Mine pealed off in the shower, make the area nice and soapy and gentle scratch at it. Comes right off. I was afraid to until 8days post op lol

Wow I was cleared day 3 for sex, good luck, hopefully it'll go by quickly.

Don't be discouraged I think that's great. I was sleeved 12/10/12 and am only 12.5lbs down. It's been slow but hey it's coming off and maybe won't have to worry as much able saggy skin

Hey guys, so my mom is looking to have her lap band removed and get the sleeve like I did on the 10th. Problem is her insurance excludes the revision. We had the most horrible dr originally for our lap band 5yrs ago and were self pay, Felix Speigel. I don't want my mom going to another chop shop like him and my doctor would be wicked expensive. I've read a lot of posts referring to a Dr Aceves in Mexico. If you've used him or know someone who has would you mind telling me your story, good/bad/ugly and if you would or would not recommend going to Mexico for the revision. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated. I am afraid of losing my mom and my son to miss out of time with his Grammy.

Bit of a rough start originally, revision from band to sleeve 12-10, but things are looking good. Incisions are healing well, cleared to hit the gym next week. The esophageal spams are still painful but said the dilation of my esophagus will eventually go away but just taking awhile due to the trauma the lap band did to it. I'm down 8.5lbs according to their scales from preop weight on 12-4 of 198.5. Slowly but surely it'll come off and I'll bet better, 8.5lbs i never wanna see again

I'm rh- and o-, had surgery Monday (4th surgery in my life) no complications or bleeding issues.

That's funny

Made my family my famous super delicious soup this evening. Took part of it and put it in the blender so it's like a cream soup. Omg it was the best thing I've had since surgery!!! I'm so freakish happy and content. Stomach feels funny, first time I've had a full serving of anything I'm allowed. Kinda creepy feeling lol

Lol yeah it was pretty rough, almost threw up. I bought 3. I'm gonna see if I can return the other 2. I'm still queasy lol.
