Yes, I was slewed yesterday. I had to lose before surgery, I was down 7 and then gain back 5. Best advice, take a dietetic today and drink tons of Water with lemon juice it it to shed the water weight. I also ran on my elliptical in a sweatshirt and hoodie to sweat out extra water. Also sugar free low cal Protein drinks. Hope this helps.

Possibly. But I do run into this issue at home when taking my dietetic. Keeps waking me up. Well was up due to beeping IV bag since they increased the flow I ran out quicker so since I was up they decided 2:13am would be a perfect time to draw blood. Lol

So apparently doc told My fiancé that my sutures came undone on my band, it was in wrong place and dilated my lower esophagus, no wonder even though I was in pain early today I still felt better! So sleeved at 7:30, immense pain and nausea when I woke around 12, they got my balanced out with pain meds and nausea, got my own room at 1. Once pain pump was hooked up I'd say by 4 my on a scale 1-10 pain dropped from like 30 to a 3 lol, did great on my walk at 8, came back to my room where my pain pump quit working for an hour yet wasn't hurting just uncomfortable, not experiencing much pain or gas pain. Nurse just took vitals, my blood pressure dropped low and pulse fast so they've increased my fluids. Which explains why my skin is so dry and itchy, I'm dehydrated. So hoping the increased IV bag speed helps me quickly.

Can't sleep lol, anyone else have itchy skin? Then to top it off they just intercommed Cold Blue, great not a good thing to hear. Not sure what's going on outside my room. Hope everything if ok with them. Makes me all scared.

A few years ago I quit cold turkey don't laugh I was only 28 started crocheting and worked on making a blanket every time I had the urge, Worked for a longtime till my cousins unexpected death. Quit again this month since surgery today and i plan to go back crocheting to make sure that the recovery goes smooth, heard of ulcers and leaks due to smoking. Plus I want to be healthy for my son and fiancé.

Yeah so about my pain meds, I went for a walk 40 Mins ago and since the button stopped working and just keeps beeping lol. They've ordered me a new one so nurse is off somewhere working on getting it for me lol. Can't get here soon enough.

Won't lie, was much worse then the banding lol, but that's to be expected considering they had to fix the mess Dr Felix Speigel made me 5yrs ago and then sleeve me. I woke in the recovery room screaming and pleading for pain medicine and anti Nausea meds, bedding to throw up and for Water or ice to so so. Needless to saw never got water Didn't throw up and once then for me stable from screaming and crying at them I was put in my room around 1pm. Since them am feeling much better. Feel like I just did a marathon, 10000000000000 sit ups and twists lol and got a new BFF Hahahaha my pain med button. Nerves are incredibly calm at the moment. Have an hour until surgery. Finally in a gown and my cool blue hat lol

Thanks guys, I love this site it's the best support from those who are in our same shoes. Now shifted my worries to the fact I have to lose weight by tomorrow morning. I was down 7lbs Friday morning, this morning it went back up 4lbs. Seriously? Hoping its because Friday and Saturday drank a ton of chicken broth, praying it was from all the sodium. I've already drank 54oz of Water this morning and dietetic, praying it comes back off.

Talk about breaking my heart. My son (5) and I were talking and I said I was scared about my surgery Monday and he goes "you can always see me from heaven and I can remember you in my mind" shocked I have him able to understand, then floored told him don't kill me off so quick. So of course I end up bawling. I'm just scared. Nothing about the actually surgery scares me, I have a high pain tolerance, not worried about stitches, just dying and not being there for my son.

Careful, I behaved that way around thanksgiving. Already was having issues gaining since I got off phentramine (July) quit smoking (nov) & had my lap band deflated (since sept). I gained, then my binder last 2 weeks ago since July was up 18lbs Doctor said I'm lucky he knows the complications I've had with the band and that I recently stopped diet pills & smoking or he would have called off the surgery. I've been on liquids all week, down 7lbs, and surgery Monday at 7:30am
