  3. How creative did you get with you Jello. On pre op clear liquid, jello and Popsicles. Any creative ideas with jello? I have one I'm tempted with but the more I think about it the more nasty I think it'll be lol. How did you get through pre-op

    Shorties...

So was in trouble for my weight gain today at doctors office, though nurse wasn't surprised since in the last 3months I had gotten off phentramine, stopped smoking and had my lap band unfilled. Good news is he still started me on my 1 wk preop and still doing the surgery Dec 10th
  5. When I lost weight with the lapband originally I went from a shoe size 9 to a 7 1/2

    December Surgeries?

Nervous, in doctor room waiting to talk to him. Suppose to start pre-op stuff today for Mondays surgery (dec 10) I've gained 18.5lbs since we decided to remove the band and go to sleeve. During this time, got off phentramine, stopped smoking and had lap band completely opened up. Hope I'm not in too much trouble.

    Shorties...

Hello again fellow shorties Getting so nervous/excited, 1wk til sleeve, go in for pre op tomorrow. I can't wait to have my band removed & start new with the sleeve. At same time terrified because I'm a single parent, told my 5yr old & ex husband I'm having my gallbladder removed. (Lapband has been my secret since my ex left me 5wks after the birth of my son because I was fat) So praying for smooth sailing
  11. Rapid weight gain/loss will affect your flow, I've gained 30lbs in 5months due to lap band complications causing me to miss a period. I freaked because I'm being sleeved the 10th and was afraid I was pregnant and would be able to get the revision. It's the same with weightloss plus keep in mind how dehydrated you are compared to before the surgery.

    Cold

Sanmys38, keep in mind you shed your insulation ;p I had wls 5yrs ago (banded) I've put lost of it back on and will be sleeved next Monday, but I've been the same way for 5yrs. I get colder easier.
  13. I agree with fyre_storm, was going to say food poisoning. That way you not contagious and they pitty you and leave you alone
  14. Okay weird question, with your weightloss has the arm jiggle subsided? I've always battled the ever embarrassing arm jiggle, the kind that if you waved too hard may knock yourself out or an innocent bystander. I'm concerned that with the weightloss and working out ill still have his issue.

    Need A Houston Surgen

Hey there girl. I'm waiting to be sleeved by Dr. Mehta at UT physicians, it's a revision from the lapband Dr Felix Spiegel put in 5yrs ago. By far one of the worst doctors I have ever met. Me and 2 others he worked on have had nothing but complications and he and his facility have HORRIBLE bed side manor. If you haven't chosen a doctor yet please don't chose him. You're safer being self pay in Mexico and having a Houston doctor do your follow ups. Message me if you need any info
  16. I also like Proasis Clear Raspberry is not bad, thick like hair gel but actually doesn't taste that bad. But I get sick of Protein drinks so easily, was glad to find one I can have every now an again that was super yummy, even if it did brake the bank with the sugars.
  17. Wouldn't know, I hate coke lol. But figure if I can chart out my total allowance for the day and budget everything I can have one every now and then. Well I normally drink 1/2 of my Protein drinks so hopefully won't be to bad.
  18. Think it'll be good for those days where you just want something that tastes great with out the guilt ya know?
