Went to first visit with doctor and it was great. I am moving on to soft foods and I am down 32 lbs in 2 weeks. I guess that walking really helps. 4 more weeks until I can hit the gym.

I am 11 days post op and all I wanna do is a friggin push up. Not supposed to workout but I'm dying to just do some push-ups. Lost 28 lbs so far and eager to get in the gym.

Lol. Oooooh. Ok. Mine lasted about 5 days. Now my only issue is sleeping on my left side. Hurts like hell. Doc said if it's still an issue at first visit then we will look at it.

No. Get up!!!!! You have to move. You will never stop hurting if you don't move. I was dying my first two days home. Day three my wife made me walk up and down the driveway. I am 9 days out haven't taken a pain pill in 3 days and walking a mile and a half in the morning and again in the evening

I nine days out and I'm killing the broth too. I kinda jazz it up a bit so I don't get bored. Each person is different. I know people who can't keep down the Protein drinks. Whatever works and stays down keep doing it.

I too am 9 days out and the Soup is killing me. I just get really creative. Tonight I drained a can of French onion Soup and mixed it with the liquid from a jar of kimchi. A lil spicy but a change.

Carbs give you energy but do not build muscle. You can get that same energy through your calories without pounding carbs.
