OMG i met another mile stone today sooooo happy I'm now 21kilos 48 pounds down :) cant wait for all this weight to drop off, i have had my ups and downs these last couple of months but for now I'm so happy with myself for going ahead with this procedure and mentally I'm starting to feel heaps better about myself aswell

  3. So exhausted, think I overdid it a bit today after not doing anything for days (op on 14th) went out for a small bit of shopping and visit mother so was out for a couple of hours now I'm tired and a little bit sore.

      Little by little, your strength will return. Rest today. Take a short walk. Be kind to yourself.

      thanks it was a shock that something so simple could tire me out so much. I am going to do a little bit more every day till I'm back to normal

      Yes! Still get them at times, when I eat too fast .... not painful anymore, just loud and annoying ....

      No hiccups, but lots of gurgling after eating or drinking and I'm a year and a half out from surgery :)

  5. 3 days post op and sick of water and broth Anyone got any ideas on what else I can have

      Thank you all for your very helpful comments I'm on full liquid diet and had made up chicken broth but am so over it. The hubby has sucked down to the shops to get some things you guys recommend so fingers crossed it helps thank you

      You don't have to stick to just chicken broth either; try some beef consomme, veggie broth, or strained cream of chicken or strained cream of mushroom. Trust me, the difference in flavor makes a huge difference.
