Question about Sugar/Sweeteners
I agree honey is an option, in moderation. I am not a big sweet drink person so I add True Lime to my Protein Water and iced herbal tea. There are some Protein shakes with stevia so that might be something that you like better. Any of the unflavored Proteins could be sweetened with stevia, honey or agave. For additional flavor the fancy vanilla brand (smith and something) makes a vanilla powder (no sugar added), sold in spice aisle where available.

What can I expect?
You can always talk with your nut. I know soft food is limited but it is still way more normal than liquid! I too will be headed to vacation on cusp of my scheduled change to "full" food stage, she told me to just discuss timing and I made my six week post op appointment now with that timing in mind.

Incision Help
Heating pad was an essential for me for comfort and sleep since surgery. No real pain now, just makes me feel better and less itchy! And helps with gas pain!

Cheating post-OP
I had my egg one day early. Off "plan" yes but I don't think my nut would have disagreed if asked. But it is Sunday so not calling for permission. Like @@LipstickLady said it is our body. I don't like "cheat" either -- especially a it relates to a healthy food item and amount -- I didn't have egg on top of my soft food and I didn't eat more than was comfortable, my husband ate a third of it and I will still have my Protein shakes later today. But I do think cheat is a word that I will personally apply to me if I eat something overprocessed, fatty, or high in empty sugars. To me, the sleeve is not about what can fit, but what should fit. Cheating for me, will be cheating myself, my body, and my hair (!) of needed nutrition in limited real estate. So no having cake and eating it too!

Late June Sleeve Buddies?
So do we count like in soccer? If I am past 14 days I am "in" week 3 or is the stalk between 21-28 days . Just wondering because I just broke 5 day stall on day 19. Sure there will be more stalls. Thanks for everyone's comments it is so good to read from those in same boat!!!

Chicken Broth
I like unjury chicken broth. Also like Campbell's beef consume with unflavored Isopure Protein. I also made some "broth" with these knorrs concentrated flavor enhancers and added protein. Whole foods sells some good bone broths as well.

Triple Zero Drinkables
Thank you for sharing. I too have been eating that yogurt due to high protein and low sugar. I will have to look for those!!

Raw veggies... How long after surgery?
I don't think I get raw veggies until 8 weeks.

Need advice ( off topic )
I echo surfer girl's advice. Relationships ending can take you for a loop and I know the feeling of wanting to make a last show or outreach in hopes that the pattern of lackluster response is broken. But he has shown you how important you and your feelings are to him, you can show him how important you are to YOU. By moving on to better things and people. They are out there!

Minnie (My Dog)
I love my dog so much, my heart hurts for you and your pal. Please take solace in fact that you are looking out for her and trying to comfort her in time of need to make best decision. She has had a good life and one that long (though not long enough right) means she lived well.

What NSV do you hope for post op?
I have almost every item shared so far! Especially daughter graduation in June. I would add not feeling like a freak or slug when in a group of people talking about physical activities and exercise. Going to plays at theatre and not being worried about fitting into seats, come on Broadway!

I never would have thought I like cottage cheese so much!

Being a Grad student & Gastric Sleeve with Gallbladder problems?
I don't think you can accurately predict if and when this would strike you. And I know academic programs can be rigorous and even if you can be away it will delay and cause implications. You should search the forum for how long a gall bladder issue would put you out. The weight loss is bound to be a positive. And your program, if in US, is required to accommodate your health issues.

Incision question
One of mine did as well. I used some of my leftover hibiclens when showered and neosporin. Just watch it and they will check your incisions at your check up. Call if you are concerned.

Soft foods question?!
My nut does not allow protein bars for months. You should ask your team. I am about same time as you, I am a big proponent of unflavored protein powder in broth or water. I had to take some day off of shakes after surgery.

Incision Help
I put a little cortisone around (not on!) incision and then neosporin in incision. Itching means healing but a person can only take so much! My middle and left, which nurse tells me get the most manipulation during surgery itched the most.

Unjury Protien; What's your favorite flavor?
I didn't like that Bariatric Advantage is only in the enormous bags. I had been ok with that brand though. But their "unflavored" is sweetened and that makes it useless. I was fortunate that my doc gave me loads of flavors to try. But is still have a lot of it that I will have to go through. I highly recommend the unjury starter kit. It is a good package and includes the basic flavors so you can find out what you like. I do like isopure unflavored and it is 25g per serving which is more than unjury 21. It is available on Amazon for a good price as well. I am trying to force myself to work my way through all the BA mixes I bought before getting any sweet flavors from unjury. I did just order more chicken broth unjury. Good luck and let me know if you like them I will try the strawberry tomorrow and report back!

How soon after surgery were you permitted to swim?
4-6 weeks depending on Incisions I would not feel safe with one week old incisions in pool.

Do I really need a passport?
There are always changes in ease of access to border especially when coming into the US. You should look at website and since the card is just a little less the passport you might want to just get the real thing. So answer is yes, if you want to return quickly and easily.
