  1. Hello, almost week 4 post-op. Have been off and on but mostly "regular" enough. But after, let's just say an event, where I weighed myself because at day 3 of having not gone I thought, "that MUST be a pound lost!" (No such luck btw). I thought I cannot do that again, I mean I have not given birth but that must have been close. So not to get too detailed (fleet). Let's talk prevention. Anyone doing the Fiber mix that you can supposedly mix in Water with no taste? How are they are non-fiber carbs? Thanks!
  2. Amazon carries Isopure unflavored
  3. sports bra. I had a soft one from Spanx that I wore post op to doc office and during time of recovery. It was soft, comfortable and offered more support than some.
  4. Yes thank you --keep sharing! Just shy of 4 weeks post-op and feel like every pound off is going to be so slow. Love the inspiration!
  5. Thank you, just ordered from Amazon. It says it has complete B vitamin, I will have to compare with my B50 complex as that is the grossest capsule that i have to open and eat, yuck!
  6. I have to do chewables. I have not been able to find a liquid multi Vitamin or liquid B50. I have liquid b12, D, Calcium. What liquid multi are you using and where do you find it?

Imagine that someone has touched the communal food and table without washing hands after going to restroom. And they all have strep....
  8. I have to try heated up chocolate ... Maybe when cooler outside though! I could not drink vanilla for about a week post op. I was just off of it. I look forward to hearing about caramel and banana. I like the Bari advantage banana.
  9. It can be very complicated with insurance especially if you are paying deductible or deductible plus copay. I only had copay and it was $300.
  10. Belts. Tucking in a shirt! Seems impossible to imagine.
  11. @@OutsideMatchInside are you using a keto calculator app, and if so which one? Thanks for that background/lesson!
  12. @aligterkaan awesome! Congrats and thanks for sharing!
  13. I agree. I felt same way on full liquid/cream. Now on mushy foods like chicken salad it is a few bites and if I eat too fast or don't chew not good. When on soups, shakes, cottage cheese, and yogurt I thought I could eat much more than the serving.
  14. @@Djmohr I actually like the bar advantage banana- esp with PB2 powder.
  15. Thank you inspiration is such a gift!
  16. I didn't see anything new in my Costco. I am not sure anyone like strawberry protein powder regardless of brand!
  17. Omg I didn't want to hear that! Well I had mine during surgery and definitely lost. But I guess I will see in coming week if this brings me another stall!
  18. Icelandic yogurt is great as shared. There are many brands and sometimes it is called Skyr. It is smoother and not bitter like Greek yogurt. I wouldn't eat it all day because it has much more carbs -- I don't think I have ever seen it in plain flavor.
  19. We share a sleeversary date! I can understand the frustrations, but like many vets I would say, are you really eating enough Protein and drinking enough Water? Work with your nut if you are feeling like you need more direction. I get 80+g a day and 70+ of liquid. I cannot imagine hunger but I can understand cravings. For cravings I try to mix up what I am eating and find some protein mixtures I really like. Being on mushy phase has helped bring in somewhat normal food, but it is a lesson not to eat too fast or too much even the small 2 ounces. Hang in there!
  20. Definitely had some apprehension and worry, I had never had a surgery before and here I was electing to alter my body. But knew I needed it to live longer and better. So far, and I am new, no regrets.
  21. Fit bit. I know that I will need to keep track of food as my diet expands to fully understand my progress and any needed changes. I also plan to bring to my nut appointments. I like fit but for tracking variety of things. Do wish I could add a protein tracker to it.
  22. Yeah like everyone said surgeon and team will tell you. I went for my two week appt and asked if I could do light workouts and they looked at me like I was crazy. "Um no your healing and internal sutures need to fully heal." I was allowed to start (next week) light (no arms!) movement on elliptical at 4 weeks and then all back to normal at 6. Swimming was also not until 6 due to submersion early on and strain on abs.
  23. Wow! Such an inspiration that helps those of us who are new to the journey! Congratulations, you look wonderful in body and spirit!!
  24. Try all of the sugar and bubble free drinks you can. Maybe they will have a good tea selection. Good luck!
  25. My doctor said much the same thing positive result meant 2 weeks prior antibiotics and 2 weeks after. Then it would mean in 2-3 years EGD and biopsy as Hpylori can lead to stomach cancer. He said it woudl not change my date if I had it.
