Yeah it gets better I had the same struggle even had to go get an IV to get back hydrated now I keep a vitamin enhanced propel zero water next to my bed and sip all thru the night
Try propel zero with vitamins they have kiwi strawberry, grape, and lemon, they kinda kill two birds with one stone vitamins and electrolytes. These helped me with hydration and I don't like any of the protein shakes either so I do peanut butter and soft scrambled eggs(not together) for protein.
Yeah avocado and cream of wheat the drinking thing is extremely important because it fills your pooch faster. I also do tofu spicy foods can be countered with either peanut butter yogurt or cheese. I love Ethiopian food and the injera is a safe bread that cold your mouth as well.
I don't recommend this but my first two weeks I focused on staying hydrated everything else was secondary. I eventually got chewable vitamins that practically melts in my tongue after chewed. I also became lactose intolerant and found it hard to do my protein. I'm 8 weeks out my best friend has become propel zero water that is vitamin enhanced
