Hey there!

I have my group intake appt on Thursday and am worried that since I barely qualify now (bmi is 36.7 and only proven comorbidity is high cholesterol) that after I do the 6 month weight loss and other testing... If I lose weight and my bmi drops they will tell me I no longer need surgery. Have you ever heard of this happening? I know I can lose the weight already. I have before a few times but its the keeping it off long term that gets me and its getting harder every time I try.

You'll want to check with your provider... Also maybe try calling one of the centers of excellence to see what they recommend. Sometimes programs work with smaller community physicians to make sure all requirements are met before surgery.

I'm love the program at Legacy health good Samaritan hospital .

On my journey I've looked into four different programs and I really like to want to Good Sam.

Everyone has been great very respectful and understanding.

Hello! I work at good Sam and am just getting started with the program myself! Who will be your surgeon? Mine is Dr. Patterson. I can't imagine being a patient anywhere other than legacy and that's not because I work there. I work there because I trust their programs and patient care

I had a breast reduction about 3 years ago went from a size G to small D. I always had to order bras from bravissimo.com which is based in the UK. But they have the most options for larger breasts! It seems more UK based companies have bigger sizes than here in the states...

That's about the timeline I'm hoping for. Six or Seven months.

My insurance deductible resets in January, and I would hate to pay the bulk of my out-of-pocket money out before that.
