In the past I might have used that as an excuse to go off my diet, but I'm committed this time. I haven't cheated at all and don't plan on it. Not this time.

Thanks guys. I do feel better

I don't really care what my wife eats if I'm not there. Being stuck in the car when everyone is eating is the worst.

I was worried that I was able to drink too quickly also. 24 oz in 30 minutes is the most I've done. -

I have united and was assigned a case worker. They mostly just want to make sure that you are on track. You only speak with them 3 times. -

I'm just over two weeks out and can easily get over 80oz in. I find that I take a mouthful of Water and hold some back in my mouth a few seconds before swallowing more -

Pre op diet at work was the worst. Better get used to it, though, because you're going to go through it with your post op diet, too. The day before my surgery they had a ton of free food (lunch, ice cream celebration for something, Snacks, etc). It made me crazy! -
Any June sleevers out there?

Had my first pureed meal today. It was pretty odd. Scrambled egg and salsa. At least it wasn't a protein shake. -
This sounds like an odd question. I have belly pain when my shirt rubs on my belly. The catch is that it isn't where my incisions are. It is mostly in between my two large incisions. Is this normal? Anything I can do about it? It hurts to walk because my shirt rubs on my belly the whole time.

Are you sure it is actual hunger? I haven't felt hungry in two weeks. Make sure you're taking your acid reducer as that can feel like hunger. -

For all you Americans: 255kg = 562lbs 106kg = 233lbs 40kg = 88lbs Just for the record. I'm seriously impressed with the weight you've lost already. That's a huge accomplishment and you should be very proud. -
Is there an easy way to edit the ticker other than to go through the whole ticker setup flow?

I was advised to pass any soup through a sieve for the first two weeks. Hope you're feeling better now. I get to start puree tomorrow. I can't wait!! -

The science behind eating more to lose more is that it raises your metabolism. If it were me, I would couple that with a new exercise routine. If you're not lifting weights now you should start when you shift your diet. If you are lifting, try lifting heavy, short sets. As mentioned above, that's what bodybuilders do. They have bulk and cut stages to build muscle (and increase metabolism) then cut stages to lose fat. -

I was sleeved June 6 (4 days ago) and things are getting better Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Are you on a clear liquid diet with no protein for two weeks like I am? Seems insane not to be allowed protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm in full liquids but protein shakes are allowed in my diet. The doctor wants me to get 60gr of protein a day, but it has been hard to drink a lot. My diet also allows puddings, cream of mushroom, potatoes and chicken (blend and strain). Here is a picture of the diet my doctor gave me, I hope it helps! btw, feeling great today! ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1465780601.964581.jpg Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App You're allowed decaf coffee! Lucky! -

How long ago did you have your surgery?I'm sorry you are feeling that way. I had my surgery in a BCBS Center of Excellence so I totally trust their knowledge and their diet care. There is any way you can find a local doctor or NUT that helps you? I just think that no having any proteins for 5 weeks does not sound right. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Agreed. That doesn't sound right to me. Everybody's plan is different, though -
