It is funny I was having a hard time with my third fill a month ago but there was a post above about drinking your waater and when I started doing that I am now being able to eat very small meals where before I was just sliming/PBing on anything I ate whether it was soft or a piece of steak. I have lost 25 pounds since June 17th. I don't know if it was the Water that made such a big deal or my band has gotten looser with all the weight I have lost. I know I feel really good.


  2. It is so weird I have been very restricted but I realized I wasn't getting all my Water in and that's why I was sliming so bad. I know it sounds crazy but I read on here that if you aren't drinking enough water it could cause problems. It migh be a coincidence because I have lost another twenty five pounds since my last fill but I am feeling so good. I realize your body doesn't need that much food. It is a mental thing with us thinking we are not eating enough. i literally can eat 1-2 oz of Protein and be fine for hours. I can know eat very small portions but that i probably what we should do wnyway. Thanks for the advice.


  3. I got a fill last Tuesday, 1/2 cc I have a 10 cc band. I am at a total of 3cc. Before this fill I could eat really anything but chicken would sometimes irritate me but since this feel I am having to live on Protein Shakes. I get this tight feeling and my mouth is watering like I want to puke but I make sure I chew my food up real good. Is this just restriction or too tight. So far I have only been able to eat maybe 1oz of meat? What is the norm? Called my doctor and pretty much they said it is my call if I want to unfill it some. Will it loosen after a couple of weeks? Please help me of what the feeling of restriction feel like. hould you slime no matter what you eat. It comes in with my saliva?


  4. I had a fill on Tuesday and since then I can't hold anything down but liquids. I can eat a small salad but no Protein what so ever. Do you think I am too tight or do I need to give it time. The problem is I get very uncomfortable when I eat protein and can't stand that feeling and will make myself get sick to get that feeling to go away. When will that feeling go away. I am only 3cc in a 10cc band. Could there be an underlying problem like a slip?


  5. I have the AP small-10ccs and had my first fill yesterday 4ccs, I have restriction. I have put myself back on liquids. Fill full and don't really feel like eating anything solid right now. Tried to eat a scrammbled egg and couldn't. Anyone felt this way on their first fill.


  6. I am on my second week of liquid phase. I found myself last night taking a bite of regular food as I still have to cook for my family. I am scared that I have messed up my band but it was really soft food. What will this do to my band. I am determined I am not going to do that again. I am going to stay with the program but I am hungry now. The first week I did not have a problem but now it is hell.


  7. I'm in, (banded 1 week ago today). I need to exercise I am starting to feel a little hungrier.

  8. How can you each this much food. I thought 1/2 cup at the most even in maintenance mode

    Yesterday ~

    Breakfast ~ Atkins Caramel Latte followed by 1 slice french toast, 1 slice bacon, 1/2 of a scrambled egg & 1/4C potatoes o'brien

    Lunch ~ salad (1.5oz lettuce, 1oz salami, 2 slices crumbled bacon, 1 hard boiled egg, 2 slices provolone cheese, 1.5T sunflower kernels & 2T ranch dressing)

    Snack ~ 1 chocolate chip cookie

    Dinner ~ Smart Ones Fiesta Chicken

    Snack ~ 1 Twinkie
