    Noodles

    My thoughts EXACTLY!
  2. This may not be the best answer but i eat it. If i want something sweet i eat it. I can eat so little i dont feel like it makes a difference. This is NOT something i do often im not really a sweet person. I personally feel like too much restriction (followed by binges) is what got me here in the first place. So my strategy is to try to eat like a normal person and enjoy things in moderation. 90-10 rule
  3. Hardest part for me has been learning how to eat all over. What works what doesnt. Exercise is fun for me i had no sense of loss or depression people talk about ive been happy since day 1 ????. This has been something ive wanted my whole life so its been a dream come true. I will say i thought the weight would fly off faster then it has been???? but still not one regret.
  4. If you have a sleeve, it's really hard to stretch it out. It's the natural progression of things to be able to eat more as time goes on. That's why it's never a good idea to count on restriction alone to help. Weigh and measure your portions, and eat healthy, non processed foods. Having shakes for a couple days will help make you feel like the restriction is there, but honestly, it just is what it is. It's not really going to "shrink". Just stick with the rules of WLS: Protein first, low complex carbs, low sugar, lots of Water and no calorie/very low calorie beverages and move more. There's really no magic trick to this. It's just all about going back to basics and sticking to it 95% of the time. Great advice! Thank you
  5. Im 6 weeks today. My week 5 i didn't follow my program AT ALL i ate ice cream and all kinds of crap[emoji20] [emoji20] im so mad at myself i blame pms! And that head hunger ????now im terrified to get on the scale! I am determined to turn it around this week. Should i restart clear liquids? Or pick up with the CORRECT Week 6 foods? Has anyone else had a bad week/day.
  6. Update actually still lost a pound!? Ill take it! Back on it today. Thanks guys!
  7. Walk light cardio elliptical bike etc
  8. Thank you for your honesty. the 27 lbs I've lost include the 7 lbs I lost on pre op diet. I guess I was watching other people's weight loss on here and thought I'd be similar. I thought my stall was over yesterday when i stepped on the scale and I had finally FINALLY lost a pound and was 218.6 but then today, I'm at 220! I knew I would be heavier today because I felt bloated. I shouldn't even have stepped on the scale because it triggered an "episode". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Almost surgery twins! (8/24)Girl you gotta stay off that scale! It will be the death of you. Shoot for weekly weigh ins. Our weight fluctuates waay too much for daily weigh ins.i have had similar weight loss currently on a stall too. ???? Get in more liquids. Follow the program be patient you wont fail ☺
  9. I feel like im SUCKING at this. Water intake is super low protein is super duper low. Im working on getting better every day every time i read post on here just about every other post talks about protein! Lol what are some of the side effects of not getting enough?

    Considering surgery

    Just do it like Nike
  17. Ive done all the pre op testing got approved by insurance and all of a sudden i got this huge wave of doubt. Everything moved so fast i dont think i really took the time to analyze my situation and if this really is THE BEST option. After doing some soul searching i know this isnt for me. Ive lost over 80lbs on my own before. For me its 110% mental and surgery doesnt wont fix my brain. So im going au natural. Its going to be the hardest thing ive ever done in my life but i know i'll be a better person because of it. Good luck to everyone this is a life long battel for most of us whatever it takes for you to be happy just do it! Little tia Cw :348 5'4 Gw healthy (170ish)
  18. Congratulations! You did it! Was your gall bladder was taken out at the same time? Good luck and best wishes with your recovery! For me, the hardest part were the 1st two weeks, then it got progressively easier and better. Happy recovery Thank you :-) yes they took out my gallbladder too I also had a hiatal hernia they repaired. It does seem to be getting easier.
  19. To me this was a once in a life time opportunity. This surgery is not easy to get paid for not every company covers it. After i made this post i started dieting YET again and realized i was putting my body thru this AGAIN i needed to do something drastic and different. So i opted to go ahead with surgery.
  20. I'm confused! You said yes to surgery after this no to surgery post? Either way...good for you!! Yes. Ultimately i decided to go thru with it.
  21. Update*** about 11 days post op BEST thing ive ever done! This has NOT been fun or easy AT flippin all! Its actually harder then i expected. At times i miss my food i used to eat then i remember the aftermath. Without this surgery there is no way in hell i could have kept myself away from all the terrible foods i hate to admit i love. This has been a godsend. I look forward to the future.
