  1. I had the sleeve done last year in May. Where my drainage tube was (after they pulled it out) I have had pain in that area. Its like right where my ribs end on the left side. I am not pregnant and my pain is getting worse. When the pain started last year my doctor who did the surgery did almost every test you can think of to see why I am having this pain and it all came back clear, they don't know why I have it. But since my pregnancy its getting worse and I am not sure what to do anymore. I am asking if anyone has had this type of pain before and if so, tell me what they did to help you.
  2. Getting pregnant wasn't an issue, they say you are very fertile. I was on birth control and once it came out I got pregnant like 2 weeks later.
  3. I had my sleeve done May of 2016. I am currently pregnant a little after a year. I've had a few problems nothing major though, things I am not sure about. When I eat I do eat my small meals and thankfully I haven't gained any weight from what I've lost. But I know when I'm hungry so I will eat but after a bite my stomach feels full but empty at the same time. I am just wanting to know how anyone else has been after getting the sleeve and getting pregnant. I can't ask my doctor because we are no longer in the US.
  4. I am a few days shy of my 5 month post-op. I have had this pain on my left side since they removed my drainage tube. I ended up getting pancreatitis and they don't know how or why I got it because I don't drink at all and my gallbladder has been out since 2010. I have had a ultrasound, blood work and a few CT scans done and they are coming back normal, but I have a fatty liver. I am getting a EGD done on wednesday and now they are saying if this comes back normal then there is nothing else that they can do. I am in constant pain and I will not be one of those people that have to have narcotics to get the pain to go away. Has anyone had this problem? I would like some advise on what to do next because right now I am at a loss as to what to do next.

  6. Yes. It's more of a hunger pain than anything. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Yes I am. I feel like this all day. I don't feel "full" but I don't eat much because the pain will get worse. They don't know what to tell me
  8. I am 4 months out and I have had these pains since I've had my surgery. My stomach doesn't growl, but it does hurt when I am hungry. When I do eat its small portions and after a few bites my stomach hurts and I can't eat anymore and/or I get nauseous. When I try to talk to my surgeon about it he tells me I don't feel anything its all in my head but I know thats not true. I am just wanting to know if anyone else has felt like this and what have they done to help them. When I eat I always eat my meat first and keep up with the Protein, but I just have this pain that I am still hungry but I can't eat much.
  9. I'm 4 months out and I drink soda. I loved Dr Pepper but for me dark soda made my stomach hurt really bad. Like a burp that wouldn't pass. I drink clear sodas, like Sprite and it doesn't hurt to drink it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. All I eat is my Protein. I eat that more than anything. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. My hair is naturally thick so right now it's not a concern. It's more of a shedding but it's a lot so I wasn't sure if there was something that could help b Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I had my surgery done May 25. I've been losing a lot of my hair. What have any of you taken for it. Does hair, skin, and nails work? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. It's not that big. It started off like a pimple and over time I feel it only when my clothing rubs on it. I'm not alarmed of them coming out. Just bothersome ya know Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Has anyone had problems with any internal stitches making their way out. In one of my incisions I have one coming out. I can't grab at it but when something rubs against it, it hurts. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I'm 4 weeks post-op. I was in the hospital last week because of pancreatitis, I was eating fine for 2 days then I started throwing up after anything I eat, even apple sauce. I tried to go back to liquids and that still makes me sick. Any who has has this problem with vomiting after eating, if you've taken the nausea medicine has it helped, I'm not nauseas but I didn't know if it helped with the food. I go and see my doctor Wednesday
  16. I'm almost 4 weeks out. I've spoken to them and was hospitalized because of pancreatitis. So that's why I haven't been able to to really have anything. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I had the same problem but mine was associated with bad pain. Every test came back clear and was fine but my doctor did blood work and I got pancreatitis. Which they don't know how because I don't have a gallbladder and I don't drink alcohol. Could have them test for that, if you are having pain. Mine got worse when I moved to the pureé/ solid stage. 18. I'm having problems with my water intake along with food. I am dehydrated, I been that way since I got out the hospital. Maybe that is why it's doing it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. I just didn't know if it could be due to me not getting all the Vitamins and nutrients that I need that my skin is doing this. Since surgery I have been able to keep anything down let alone take vitamins. But I think I'll get a consult to a dermatologist. I use anything on my hands no lotion or anything. 20. This may sound like a odd question but after the surgery has anyone gone through a phase or anything where your skin sheds. Like my palms and some other places are shedding as if I've had sun burn and the skin just flakes off.
  21. I've had that done as well. It came back normal. I have pancreatitis Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. It turns out that I have acute pancreatitis, my doctor just called me and I am going to be admitted in the morning.
  23. Did they tell you what was wrong. I am currently going through this now and my doctors are at a loss. The tests say everything is fine but I am in pain and can't eat or drink.
  24. I went to see my doctor this morning. The scan came back clear but I am in tremendous pain. I don't know what else to do at this point.
