  4. I ordered two different one for now. I love coffee, like can't live without it so I got the Chike coffee flavored. Figured I could get my Protein and my coffee. And the I ordered the unflavored Isopure. I love it because I can really out it in anything and it doesn't taste like it is there. So when I have a Protein shake i just put a few berries in a blender with a little milk and it is delish. Is there a certain kind of.protein powder that you like? I have a hard time with finding bars and shakes I like because I do not really like chocolate all that much. Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App
  5. That is too funny. I hate grocery shopping. It is my least favorite chore. If I could buy all my produce and cold foods online I would. Haha. I did just recently order my Vitamins and Protein powder. Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App
  6. Definitely have to play it safe with the insurance. It would not be a good thing to give them any excuse not to pay up. Lol Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App

I'm hoping after a loose some weight I'll be able to tolerate the heat a bit better. Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App

  10. I understand that feeling completely. I hit a point in the scale where I felt if I weighed one more pound i would just bust into tears. What is your starting weight? 14. I do not have a require " diet" before surgery either. My doctor made some suggestions that he feels can make the transition a but easier. He recommended eliminating any carbonated beverages at least two weeks prior and to try and eat less carbs. I didn't have to meet a required weight loss either. I am in the same mindset as a few of the reply above. Enjoy the time you are given but I also think you should be mindful of what you eat. This is mindset that you will have to focus on everyday for the rest of your life, why not start now. Good luck to you with your surgery. I am having mine on July 5th and I cannot wait! 15. I am sure there are many of you out there that have been through the surgery and had families. I have been trying to do little things here and there as I prepare for my upcoming surgery date but I would love some ideas on how I can best keep up with my family as well. My son is only 19 months and still sleep in his crib, so lifting him up for naps during the day and being able to get down on the floor and play with him, etc. Another on of my biggest concerns are keeping up with making meals for my family (obviously they are not on the liquid/puree diet). really any advice on this would be great. My husband has been a huge support for me and I want to make sure that I am doing my best to make him feel loved. thanks everyone!
  16. Hi everyone. I love seeing all the progress that everyone has made. I am 5'4 361lbs with surgery scheduled July 5th. I cant wait to be sharing my success with all of you!
  17. Welcome! i am scheduled for July 5th. i am new to this support group and looking for a few people to keep in touch with that are starting around the same time that I am. I feel that going through it with someone that is also going through it, may make it a bit easier as far as support goes. How are you doing with preparations?

  20. I carry most of my weight in my lower body and have severe lymph edema/lipoedema in my legs. I was surprised to see that I did start losing fat in my legs right away. I figured it would be the last to go. I have lost over 200 pounds and I definitely look like a melting snowman but I do continue to see changes in my butt, hips, thighs/legs. I also started physical therapy for my lymphedema after surgery which makes a big difference. @innersurfergirl thank you so much for your response. I had just recently read an article about lipodemea and wondered if I may have had this for some time and was just never diagnosed. I wonder if I may be able to send you a message to pick your brain about some things, I would love to get your direct input since it sounds like you know exactly where I am coming from. Thank you again! Sent from my SM-G920P using the BariatricPal App
