  1. I never said a name ,but if you want me to sure ill point out Lipstick lady is a sarcastic, Rude, Ignorant and whatever comes to everyone else's mind..she has to comment on everything with a snarky rude comments...but i guess she forgot she was a newbie once...I will never take advice from someone like her,and yes im sure she can read this..but idc..for the other lady, that you said i might of bumped my head..she must of felt i was talking to her, i wonder why..when i never said or mentioned a name ..

    OK, you want to rumble?

I'm gonna speak up here for @@LipstickLady, who is my friend. She has been great to me. When I was a newbie here (a few years ago), Lipstick gave me so much good advice I have never forgotten it.

One bit of advice was: "Don't waste my first six months post-op, which are a magic time for weight loss. You will never lose weight again as fast as you can during this early period after your WLS.

Another bit of good advice she offered was something you haven't quite grasped yet: "Take the good you find here, leave the rest."

A third bit of good advice she has always given is: "Don't assume your experience is a universal WLS experience -- it's just your experience. Therefore, don't go around telling everyone that your experience is what they should expect."

Finally, here is some advice from ME to the newbies who have gotten their tits caught in a wringer about the "tone" of this message board:

    1. Try to lighten the f**k up. I know many of you are pre-op and going through your pre-op jitters. All the veterans understand what that was like. But trust me, not everyone here made others' lives miserable just because we had the jitters.

    2. Finally, this will shock the hell out of some of you, but nobody who posts on this message board is here to serve your needs. No matter whether we're pre-op or five years post-op, most of us are here to help ourselves. Yes, we reach out to others with support from time to time, but nobody here is your mommy or your daddy. Every single person here has a plateful of challenges -- whether it's getting through the pre-op diet or struggling with regain or caring for a family member who has cancer or working for the world's worst boss or trying to overcome a transfer addiction or raising our grandchildren. YOU are not the center of OUR universes. WE are.

Do i want to Rumble, a grow woman asking me to rumble on an app..lady go fly a kite..if i, and others feel this way about who i just mentioned, now was for you i guess the shoe fitted YOU!. Don't respond Back..i put enough energy to read the first sentence of your novel.

  3. This whole thread is Drama, eat what you want ,if your unsure talk to your Dr!,we are not licensed professionals, we didn't go over your health. EVRERYONE here has a different goal, mindset, and plans.. so Sanju when you ask, understand this..not everyone here is open minded, and humble. Some think they are Experts... with no PhD.

    Wish you the best.

You'll find quite a few of us are actually licensed medical professionals with strong backgrounds in nutrition and other relevant information. That doesn't mean we know everything, but it does mean there is legitimate education and experience behind our advice. Not only are there a TON of nurses on this site, but some of them even work in bariatrics. Don't be so quick to dismiss different perspectives. You could potentially miss out on helpful advice.
You do see how everyone is reacting to his post right..some are jerks, and sarcastic..if he is asking a question ,its because he is afraid to call his DR. And 2nd Im no dummy i also work the the Medical Field, but thats doesn't dismiss or to say I am right and you should follow it my way. This is the reason why he seen a DR. In the first place, so by all means, you make some sense as to what i said ,but like i said before not everyone ,and when i say everyone we have a few who have lost so much weight and forgot they also had these questions, they also where FAT and oBESE at one point..which is why they are here on this Forum.

  5. Being separated for about 6 months ,and i recently had the surgery on his insurance was the best thing he could of gave me.. (he had no choice, since im insured) ,he cheated several times, walked out on me and his sons 1 yrs, 6yrs, 8 yrs, and guess what he recently seen me and his face looked a little lost after loosing 21 pounds from the 3 weeks he didnt see me. But im hurt, sad, and most of all confused but happy that ill soon be getting divorced fron a Narcissistic selfish a*****e.. stayed to long 15 years together and we didnt even make it 6 years married.. a man who cheats and blames you, doesn't compliment you, lies to you, because your a good woman and put him first at all times becomes selfish and they Doesn't deserve anymore of you. So im worth a whole lot more, and dealing and feeding into his ignorance im giving my time at a discounted price..no thank you been there and im not going backwards..so with this being said ..if i can love the wrong person..with all my soul..that way i did, have and still do in a sense, i can only imagine how much i can love the rightsens, when im OVER this one.. but for now the focus is this damn stall.

I never felt beautiful or sexy..well actually he never said it not once. I guess to him my weight was a problem that when he seen me he seen FAT.

I can never understand his way of thinking or what he really felt .

at times i felt loved but at times i didn't..I was the marriage..so before you listen to everyone on here ,only you know what your heart feels ,and what is really reciprocated through her.

    Wish you the best..

  6. Im at a stall i weighed 267 and after surgery on may 25th i weighed 222..im at a stall ,but im going to be honest im not eating all that is required.. like tons of Protein. Like everyone else

I don't really feel hungry, so when i cook for my boys ill take a 2 bites of what i cook for them..

If i had to tell you what i do eat it will eggs, cottage cheese, hummus ,pickles, veggie chips ,almond milk, tuna with mayo n corn , i drink infused Water cucumber and mint..that really is what i eat ..i exercise 3xs a week like run up bleachers and walk and i do squats.., and still at a stand still .i have been self conscience about not over eating that when i eat and chew and chew and chew i also drink water..bad habit. So as of tomorrow im doing all Protein for the next week to see if it breaks that plateu or stall good luck
