Sending you prayers. Hang in there. Better days ahead.Ok.. I gotta vent... I am so furious right now!
I had my surgery at a hospital an hour away because this surgeon is awesome. On Sunday when I wasn't feeling well we decided to go to ER by our house...that's where I found out I have seroma after a cat scan.
I was still feeling very crappy since then went to my surgeon, they obtained a copy of cat scan report from the ER and guess what... No seroma! But I have a huge Abcess!OMG! Really!
So now we are on the way to the hospital where I had surgery to the ER to have my surgeon open me up and drain the Abcess after which I will start antibiotics.
Also going to get Doppler on my leg to make sure I am not forming a blood clot...
Wow really really struggling right now but now they all can see I am not crazy, I am miserable for a reason!
Please pray for me!

I had my surgery one week ago today, was discharged Friday and back in the ER on Sunday, for 9 hours for dehydration. It has not been a good week. I'm regretting this. I hope better days are ahead.Heating pad helps for gas pain
I had my revision from band to bypass on May 13th, having a tough recovery as I had complications but I trust it does get better. Hang in there

Thank you for the inspiring post.
Hey there- I'm so sorry to hear you don't feel good right now. I had a revision from a brand to a sleeve (had sleeve for 6 years) and am doing great almost 6 weeks out. Other than the restriction and the small scars I never would have known I had surgery.**Please help!! I'm really struggling. I had my LapBand taken out with extensive scar tissue converted to GasticBypass on Tuesday and was just released from the hospital on Friday. I have major gas pains and left side back pain. I've never experienced this. I'm in alot of discomfort and I totally regret this decision. Please help.

I can promise you this does get much better!!!
Remember you just had major surgery so go easy right now. The gas pains are the worst but the sooner you can get up and move around the better.
Read some of the veteran posts here for inspiration and to see what you have to look forward to. This part is the worst but every day you will heal and every day you will feel a bit better. In a few weeks you will shake your head when you think of saying you regret this- because you won't.
Follow your teams directions, take care and keep us posted.

I'm going to try that. Thank you for the response.
Hi daisygirl10. .. when I had post surgery gas pain I had my husband pat firmly and quickly all over my back (like burping a baby but all over) it really helped move it. The pain was in my shoulder and under my ribsI'm doing it all. It's so frustrating. Thank you for the reply.

I'm 7 weeks post op 7/12/16, I'm down 32 lbs, BUT I'M NAUSEOUS ALL THE TIME. I get up in the morning, start drinking Water and feel NAUSEOUS. I even take Zofran. This morning I ate a 10g Protein bar, before even drinking and I'm still feeling nauseous and even have been dry heaving the past 3 days. Any suggestions?
