I wouldn't think it would matter. For my pre-op diet, the only thing my surgeon was concerned about was that I didn't have any starches or sugars. Protein and fats were not limited. I hope it don't change I have came too far to be set back. Like I know better.... The dietitian classes I took for six months was for this. Omg I am so disappointed with myself. Speak to your NUT. Your team must say what's right for YOU. I'm told to take in 100g of Protein Post Op but to try and get the protein in Now too. I will call her first thing in the morning. Wow.... You should be happy that you didn't have to do this. Me and my friend and everybody that was in my weight loss class. Was put on a two week clear liquid diet. We are only able to drink up to 70 grm of protein a day. I chose slim fast cream chocolate with extra protein and premier protein as my meal replacements. Drink chicken broth and jello unlimited but limited to two chocolate pudding cups per day -
