I had surgery 6 days ago - and I've lost 31 pounds since starting my liquid diet on the 6th.

I was scheduled to start my liquid diet today, but I started yesterday (monday, new week, new start) and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Now I know I'm only on day 2 but my stomach has been full of Protein that I don't even want food when I see it...I have lots of different things that fall in the category and am surprised how it's going so far!!!

My approval came in today and I am scheduled for June 21st with pre-op diet starting almost three weeks before. Apparently, when you're near 50 BMI, my surgeon likes to have an extended pre-op. Yay!

I feel like I should be nervous about having such a major surgery, but I guess it doesn't quite feel real yet.

Having surgery early morning of June 21st. Want to see if there is someone around the same age (24) that's getting it done around the same time. I have lots of support at home - but would also like someone going through this to lean on (and let's be honest) be brutally honest about how I'm feeling and how everything is going knowing they will understand. An outside source, if you will... let me know
