I had 2 friends who had their surgeries last year and both only had to do a light diet 3 days prior to opI've have been naughty my previous op diet. The question Is why are there some people who don't have to do a pre op diet at all? Oh well, such as life. I have 19 more days pre op so I will nail this!!

Yay I'm not the only one. I haven't been good either but I will be from today...I haven't been very good with pre-op diet. I'm starting all Protein shakes on Sat and hope my liver shrinks enough. I don't want them to get in there and say nope and close me back up.

Me too!Being sleeved June 8th totally nervous. Bitten my nails to numbs, catch myself shaking my foot, cannot concentrate at work very well. Hard time sitting still. Because I have a teenage daughter and I am a single mom had to make a Will that really brought it home. Oh well we will be okay right!? They do thousands of these around the country. Trying to stay in the moment thinking these are the last pre-op days, we will have new lives pretty soon. Good luck! Stay in touch.

What are you taking with you? My op is on Wed. Have you been on the liquid diet?My surgery is on Thursday 6/9! I feel like I'm pretty well prepared for my hospital stay and for post op. Any last minute advice/tips/well wishes would be appreciated!

So I am scheduled for surgery on Wed 8th June. I was suppose to have been on a strict liquid diet 2 weeks prior to surgery I lasted 3 days but the headaches, nausea and stress at work got the better of me. I am planning to follow it with fidelity now, will it be enough?

I'm on my pre-op diet and have had a headache all day. Anyone else experience this? Also my list states I can consume low calorie yogurt, how many grams of sugar would be ok though? Thank yoy.
