My husband eats anything he wants and is slim too. I have always cooked though. I have 2 littles and my husband and I am 2 days post op. So far I haven't had a problem cookimg for them, but once I am able to eat again I plan to cook what I need and add more for them to ballance out the meal. Following to see what others have to say too.

I had everything scheduled and I was supposed to be done with all my pre-op on 5/3 and my insurance got messed up and cancelled in error. Sooooo after the doctor's office cancelled several appointments I had to fight to get it fixed and now I will be done with all my pre-op on 6/15.....They won't even schedule my surgery till then so it sounds like I won't have surgery till August or September.... I completely get your frustration. I have been working for this since last DecemberSo surgery is set for June 1st. Had all my preop tests done on Friday. Got clearance from my PCP & a pulmonologist I had to find at the last minute (because I don't go to one nor has my surgeon mentioned one until last week). Now I get an email asking if I did my upper endoscopy - no I didn't. More than likely forgot all about it didn't know it was necessary. Well if I don't get that done before the 1st then my surgery will be rescheduled a few months from now!! I'll admit I honestly didn't remember about it but noone reminded 3 weeks ago when I was in the office for my preop appointment?! So now if it can't be done (not looking good right now) I have to rearrange alot & go thru this crap all over again. Don't know what to do...just frustrated
