:wink2:I had a sleep study done and I have sleep apnea, now I have to sleep with this machine that will be given to me next week which I must use every night for the next 5-6 wks before I can be scheduled for my surgery. I was also told that I will have to bring the machine to DR office so they can check to make sure I have been using it why ? Has anyone elese have to do this ?:smile:

:ohmy:I just found out that my insurance has been approved and all I have to do now is get this mask for my sleep apena which I should have by next week and then I can be scheduled for my band surgery, but I need to loose 5 to 10 pounds and I don't know how to start eating the right foods for this please someone give me ideas how to start my future as a banded woman with the right diet.

I don't know what to think right now, I am 95% sure I will be approved for the band, but just reading about the weight lost and how some bandster loose great within a year and other don't, plus the sagging skin, do think excerise and staying active well help with this problem? I really want this to work for me but I want to see result also? I need some encouragemnet?:tongue2::smile2:

I had my 1st appointment today, and the surgeon wants me to save a sleep test to see if I have a sleep apena has anyone done this and how long does it takes?

I have UHC and I do know that they cover the lapband at 100% does anybody know what are some of the other requirements beside the BMI? I am so neverous that I might not have what it takes.

I have an appointment today with the Barix Clinics at 1pm not sure about anything yet.

I am going to my 1st appointment 2/25/08 and I am worried that I do not have enough information about past diets that I have tried. I have seen many doctors for weight lost but not since my insurance stop covering weight loss progams only surgery. I don't have any doctor information just self diet plans like slim fast and over the counter drugs, any suggestions on what to do?:confused2:
