  7. I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I have come to the conclusion that in society we as overweight people get beat up emotionally on a daily basis that you put up a huge wall and are very protective for yourself because it's rare to have people understand. I think it's more of the fact that now even I I'm leaving this big version of me. It's kind of like I'm joining the other side not liking this big person anymore. Like I said before I have lost weight and Yoyo dieting for many years. I have never Ben thinner then about 180 pounds and that was when I was about 13 years old. I am doing this for my health and to have a long healthy life. I don't have any comorbidities except for very mild sleep apnea and high cholesterol. Everyone is always surprised when I get blood done and blood pressure taken. So I had to do this before my body cannot handle it anymore. I know I will never be this weight again. And while very happy and exciting there will always be a big girl inside me no matter my weight. And it feels like I said before but I'm turning my back on her. Kind of like I'm now saying to her everything that other people have said about being heavy I know it sounds crazy. I'm just trying to process it and I'm sure once these hormones calm down with the dramatic weight that I'm losing I will feel like I was even more crazy when I posted this. 14. From my reading it is quite common in week 3 to lose zero, zip, nada. Its the body's way to try and hold tight to everything because its in panic mode. Its ok it will pass and you'll be back on track losing again. I refuse to weigh myself daily or weekly because I will drive myself insane. Just going to weigh at my monthly check up. I went for my first check up friday, 10 days post op and was down 10. So it's working. I go again on the 24th next month. I expect another 20lbs then. I have alot to lose. 21. I dont think men understand what we go through being heavy and how catty people can be. Right now the hard part I'm going through is his family calling me asking how I am. They have been nice, but giving updates isn't me. I'm very private. Now I feel very exposed. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

  23. Thanks everybody. I will be celebrating milestones. I'm not sad to get thin. It's just an ending of a relationship with yourself. Hard to put into words. Kinda like building a life, being this way for years, then one day your spouse packs up and leaves never to be seen again. Then getting the dreaded, it's not you it's me. 25. Doing something that I have to stand for, for more than an hour. Amusement parks Shopping in Regular stores Sitting in cheap plastic outdoor chairs and not worrying about it bending and snapping Wearing cute clothes, not sackwear Heels Working outside on the lawn and garden Leaving a good amount of food on a plate in restaurants lol Putting on my seatbelt and not moving, sucking in and squeezing it in place. Airplanes Going for a walk with my pups Standing on a chair to do things high Travelling anywhere and anywhere Have a baby Workout without looks No more looks when outside. No more rude yells at me when I'm in a grocery store. Hey, I think I know I'm big. Thx for the heads up tho. ENERGY Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
