My surgery also is in two weeks and I could not be any more EXCITED as I already are. I have no REGRETS! I am looking forward to my future BODY!

What is your surgery date?

When I go on my pre-op liquid diet. I have to drink Optifast shakes, so I was wondering. Does it cause a lost of appetite?

I am sorry you are going through not losing weight. Maybe it is the broth. Cut the broth. It could be you are having TOO MUCH LIQUID. I hope and pray things change in your favor. I would sure hate for you to go through this whole process and in the end to not have the surgery. My prayers are for you!

I attended a Bariatric orientation and my Doctor advised that two patients lost 2lbs. on the pre op diet, so he cancelled their surgery. I am soooooooo nervous going on this pre op diet(June 21st). I do not want my surgery to be cancelled.

I too have been getting myself prepared for surgery, liquid diet and post -op. I started eating and purchasing Premier protein bars and shakes, chicken broth and noodles, and sugar free popsicles. I woke up this morning and saw the scale went DOWN. So I am going to continue my cycle.

Is it okay to take Phentermine(for lose of appetite) while on the liquid diet?

Yes, I an ready for the liquid diet. I hope time hurry! As for now, I have been monitoring what I eat. I do not want to get any bigger. The more I weigh, the more I have to exercise to loose.
