  1. A pound is a pound. A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat, just like a pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of lead. I have ALWAYS hated that argument. Muscle does not weight more than fat. Also, I find that weighing myself everyday keeps me accountable. To each their own. If you find it toxic and it does not work for you than do what works best for you.

  2. I was sleeved on the 9th of June. I have a 3 yr old and an 9 month old. I waited the two weeks to pick my 9 month old up (I had help from my mom and sister). Taking care of them was fine. Really after about 3 days I felt pretty good. They recommend waiting four weeks to pick anything heavier than 22 pounds, and two week for less than 22 pounds. You got this!

  3. I was in the hospital for 2 days. Really the most uncomfortable part for me has been the gas from the surgery that is just sitting in my chest. It makes things very uncomfortable. I have recuperated amazingly well and would recommend the surgery to anyone!

Thank you all for your support. I just got home ( I had my surgery in Mexico) and everything so smooth. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

That's great! How long were you in the hospital and what was the most uncomfortable part?

  4. I am scheduled to have my surgery on June 9. I was not nervous at all until today! I'm now extremely nervous. All these questions are running through my mind and the thought that I am crazy has passed through as well! I have two little children, a three year old and a ninth month old. What am I thinking?? How am I possibly going to do this?? Anyone go through anxiety right before surgery?
